Heated cabin includes a queen-size sleep loft, toaster oven, kettle. Inside the house are 3 shared bathrooms, a veggie kitchen, yoga room, roof deck and sauna. We are an eco-friendly 10-person community house on a quiet street close to the subway.

The space
Private heated cabin behind a brick home in one of Toronto hippest neighbourhoods. Inside this treetop hideaway is a cosy living space with a sleeping loft above. This light and airy space is perfect for travellers or couples looking for a quiet retreat.

A bathroom, hot shower and sauna are just inside the house, accessible from the back door. We provide slippers and bathrobes for your use. Note: The bathroom is shared but if it happens to be full, there are two others washrooms available.

There a good quality queen-sized futon mattress in the sleep loft. We can set up an additional bed on the main level if you have a third person (or two people that wish to sleep separately). There are four pillows, of which two are memory foam.

Inside the cabin there is a toaster oven, a kettle, aeropress coffee machine, coffee grinder, filtered water, choice of teas, dishes and cutting board.

I am one of the residents of our shared community house which is made up of a diverse mix of women and men from age mid-20's to 51. Beside me is Bridie another house member who was actively helping out on house projects. She has moved back to Australia, but Mary is helping now. You can see our profiles by doing a web search for "lotusfeast" Steve loves vegetarian cooking, sustainable building, fixing things, playing guitar, and yoga. I built the cabin where you will be staying.

During your stay
Being a community house (web search "Lotusfeast"), we love meeting new people. The nice thing with the cabin being separate is that you can be involved with the main house as you please! You'd always be welcome into the shared spaces, but if it's rest and privacy you're after, there is no pressure to join us.
