Neo-brutalist loft with an elegant industrial style in an exclusive contemporary building . The unique pieces of modern art decorate a refined but at the same time minimalistic space with a high and bright ceiling and nuances of exquisite finesse and class. To appreciate the beautiful city of Milan and its classical music, vibrant vibes, amazing art and design and world- renowned food.

The space
The loft, located on the first floor of a building designed by Giuseppe Tortato, an architect very active in Milan who signed innovative projects, creates an imposing and solemn environment and shows the typical features of an industrial space: industrial brick walls filled with perfectly insulating soundproofing, exposed conduit metal pipes, 5-meter ceilings, double tempered stained glass windows.
The neo-brutalist interior is inspired by the famous Pierre Chareau's "Maison de Verre”.
One wall of the living room is a whole stained glass window revealing the skyline and some beautiful gardens.
The space concept offers extreme comfort to practice all the most pleasant domestic activities: listening to classical music vinyls directly from the unique hi-fi audio system created by skilled Italian artesans (Sonus Faber “Guarneri” speakers from 1994), reading books and design, lifestyle and history magazines and searching the beauty in front of a picture - such as Gabriele Basilico's famous “Beirut” from a 1991reportage in Lebanon that depicts one of the city’s bombed corner. The solid oak bookcase, hung on the wall like a picture, is a creation by the artist cabinetmaker Giuseppe Amato and gives a warm effect to the living room - as well as being a cultural inspiration. In fact all the design and art pieces almost make the apartment as an interactive museum. On the floor is another homage to Chareau, the natural rubber stamps in sand color. The sliding doors are made of industrial aluminum.
On the lower floor there is a fully equipped kitchen, a bedroom with a television and a bathroom with a big shower. On the upper floor, reachable through an imposing iron staircase, there is the master bedroom with an upholstered queen size bed and a cozy reading corner with a classic19th century burgundy leather armchair.
The ensuite bathroom lounge is divided into two areas: one with a large built-in bathtub and shower head and the second one with the sanitary ware. Both are full of natural light for the glass-concrete wall and opening window.
The building is a unique two-story architecture of wood, metal and concrete with stairs, elevator and a well-kept lawn green garden and blue hydrangea. Clean and reassuring.
The loft is suitable for two or four guests.

Guest access
The loft is entirely designed to offer a unique stay for demanding guests who can request suggestions on different activities in Milan and best assistance at any time by their dedicated Property manager. Autonomous heating and air conditioning is provided by fancoils, and guests can also enjoy high speed wi-fi , bathroom amenities , hotel-quality towels and sheets.
In addition, the loft offers a wide range of comfort to spoil the five senses: from listening to a vinyl by Enrico Caruso, the great tenor, to reading design magazines, to wine tasting with special glasses. Nothing is left to chance and the visual experience enriches even more the Milanese stay.

Other things to note
The loft is equipped with a digital opening system, for a flexible and independent check in. Convenient and practical, the intelligent access gives extreme security to our guests and improves the experience during their stay.

Location

Milano, Lombardia, Italy

The loft is located in the Naviglio Grande zone which is full of history, tradition, culture and beauty: water is synonymous with life and in this area guests can really experience the Milanese way of life.
The neighborhood is in fact one of the most evocative and eclectic but the loft is far from the noisy nightlife happening close to the Darsena neighborhood, near to San Cristoforo, the ancient Church dated 1176, with its secluded garden of roses. This area after a millennium has become the center of aggregation of many “Made in Italy” creatives. There is a typical Lombard town atmosphere, photographic studios, modeling agencies, design showrooms, starred restaurants and vegan bars which all coexist with the most glorious clubs of Italian rowing: Canottieri Milano (1890) and Canottieri Olona (1894) .
