Magnificent 18th century loft with exposed timber framing, very modern conveniences ideal for a couple, close to Omaha Beach, Pointe du Hoc, the American cemetery and the Port en Bessin golf course with its fishing port.

The space

This room is unique because of its architecture and very contemporary comfort in an 18th century building.
It is ideal to welcome a couple with possibly 1 or 2 young children.

Our house is in a village of 98 inhabitants between the Pointe du Hoc and the American cemetery. The famous and beautiful beach of Omaha Beach is 2 kms from the house.
The fishing ports of Grandcamp Maisy and Port en Bessin are also nearby. The golf course of Omaha Beach is 15 kms away. And the city of Bayeux with its sumptuous mansions and its cathedral is 20 kms.

The accommodation is accessible by car.
Your car will be welcomed in our private car park in the immediate vicinity of the entrance of your accommodation.

Guest access

Travelers have access to the entire accommodation. They are independent although being in our property. The garden is open to them in full as the swimming pool on reservation. A table football, a ping-pong table, a bowling pitch and bicycles are also at their disposal.

Interaction with guests

My husband and I are available to travelers to respond to their requests.
We just have to make progress in English.
We adapt to the wishes of communication or tranquility of our travelers.
We really want them to enjoy their stay at home

Other things to note

Do not worry about bad weather as it is always beautiful several times a day in this area where we live for over 30 years.

We had a very short stay with Veronique unfortunately, but the suit was absolutely amazing. It was beautiful, tastefully decorated, and felt like home for the night. She was lovely to communicate with, and left us some nice breakfast snacks, and coffee! It was a great place to get a good sleep after travelling and exploring Omaha Beach... Very close to the beach! I highly recommend staying here! :)

We had a very nice stay in this beautiful loft ideally located near the D day beaches. Veronique was a great hostess and we couldn't have been more comfortable there. We highly recommend this place, and would return there ourselves if in the area again! Thank you!!

Véronique made us and our little girl (11 months) feel very comfortable and welcome. She went out of her way to make sure our little one had what was necessary (toys, baby bath, something to block the stairs). She and Juan Pierre were always warm and helpful. I felt a bit like the photos on airbnb actually did not do this place justice! The loft was beautiful, the bed was so comfortable (even better than our own), the shower had great pressure, kitchen had everything a person needs and was stocked with lots of yummy things. The fresh bagette and croissants that Véronique fetched every morning, was delicious. The (URL HIDDEN) much lovely green space to sit and relax (even a little garden room for when the weather is bad). All the sweet friendly animals, Marty the dog, the cat and horses. All the extra games and things to do (table tennis, trampoline, volleyball, play area for kids, not to mention the devinely warm outdoor pool). Really we loved EVERYTHING! There was nothing we could fault...absolute heaven! Perfect for couples looking for a relaxed getaway or a couple with a child or two, this is something for everyone, book it and book it now!

The place was beautiful and she was a very welcoming hostess. The residence exceeded our expectations and was close to Omaha Beach, which we visited multiple times on our trip. A wonderful start to our honeymoon; definitely worth the stay!

Beautiful AirBnb - everything about it was thoughtfully done. Comfortable bed, nice bathrobes, even the refrigerator had food and beverage provided. Veronique was a wonderful host who even stood outside on the road to make sure my husband and I were easily able to find the AirBnb. 10 Stars!! This is a must stay.

Veronique, Merci, Merci, Merci!!! From the bottom of our hearts we want to thank you and Jean Pierre for your hospitality. Your kindness and attention to detail as hosts made our first time using Air BnB a great one and something we will do again. When we come back to France we will be sure to stay with you again, if you will have us. Please be safe and healthy until we meet again! Brian and Tracy ❤️
