The space
Set in the city of Jackson, the picturesque backyard and open field back up to Brookside Memorial Park. The natural beauty lures young and old to take a walk and enjoy the fresh air. Litz Park and Jackson City Park are also in walking distance. Band and Rock Garden concerts are regularly scheduled at Jackson City Park in the summer where there is also an outdoor pool, paved walking trail, tennis courts, SAFETY CITY, a creek and bridge just perfect for photos!

Clearly view the Fourth of July Fireworks from the perimeter of Brookside Park without ever worrying about parking. The City celebrates Fourth of July at the crack of dawn with an annual 5K. Rides, car show, duck races, the infamous mud volleyball games and food, food, food throughout the day lead up to a lovely evening fireworks display.

Jackson City Park (5 minutes away) offers walking trail, tennis courts, pavillions, playgrounds, lake for fishing and SAFETY CITY! (a wonderful miniature town for kids to learn about traffic and be safe) Bring bikes if you can. Concerts in the summer months.

Chris is an elementary art teacher at a local public school. Private lessons available when requested in advance. Alan is an import wholesale supplier of robes, cosmetic bags, spa wraps etc. Hey need a robe?

During your stay

We are pretty much available 24-7 for emergencies. During the spring, summer and fall owners will be tending garden and watering outdoor hanging plants. Meeting new folks and offering hospitality is limited during the school year as I am a full time teacher. But, I'm looking forward to meeting guests, when possible
