Great location
95% of recent guests gave the location a 5-star rating.
The barn, where the loft is, was moved to the property from Cody where it was the old feed store. Sit by the pond or relax and walk around the landscaped property visiting with the resident animals. We are in a quiet and secure neighborhood, but close to town to enjoy the restaurants and little shops that line main street. Only 20 minutes to the Bighorn Mountains, enjoy beautiful scenery, hiking or picnicing. Yellowtail Reservoir offers fishing and hunting opportunities only minutes away

The space
Your space will be the entire upper level of the barn with your own outside entrance. The lower part of the barn is our shop space but we will respect your privacy and solitude. The fire escape for the loft does come down into the lower part of the barn. There is no shared space with other guests.

John and I have been managing cattle ranches for the past 10 years in both Colorado and Wyoming. We have been blessed with this new opportunity to meet people and share what God has given us. John grew up on a ranch near Carlsbad, New Mexico where he was blessed to be able to go out on the "wagon" in the summers. After graduating high school, he played football for Texas A&M and later played baseball for Sul Ross in Texas. He spent many years working in the oil field, having worked in every state but Hawaii and New Hampshire, after returning from 2 tours in the military. Brenda grew up on a farm and ranch near Limon, Colorado, played basketball for Kansas State University, and returned to Limon to raise daughters and work construction for a general contractor and operate a tile business. In 2009 we decided to follow our dream of ranching in the mountains and moved to Jefferson, Colorado, near the town of Fairplay. We came to Lovell in December of 2019.
