Villa Amelia is a historic liberty villa (1928) on two floors: the first is available for 6 guests, fully equipped and composed of 3 bedrooms (overlooking the Tanagro Valley), kitchen, dining room and living room (with view on the Alburni Mountains), 2 bathrooms. Peace and quiet assured (altitude 600m), off the beaten track. Located in the heart of the village, you will have walking access to the historic centre and walks in the Cilento, Vallo di Diano and Alburni National Park

The space
Villa Amelia is located at the foot of the Alburni mountains: constructed in 1928, the family home has been handed on from generation to generation, to the present day. To stay at Villa Amelia, you need a car, which you can easily park under the house, free of charge. The villa is completely renovated (2015), safeguarding the characteristics of the property. We provide the first floor (150m2), furnished with tiled flooring and historic furniture, overlooking the Alburni mountains and the Tanagro Valley.

Upon entering, a marble staircase leads to the first floor. There, you will find an entrance with a piano and access to the main balcony on one side, and to the corridor on the other. Around the corridor, there is the living area (on the right) and the sleeping area (on the left).

Living area: living room, dining room, kitchen and bathroom 1. All rooms have access to the side balcony along the facade overlooking the garden and the Alburni mountains.

The furnishings of the living room, with historic tiles, include two armchairs and a sofa, a desk and a furnished library. It has a double view, on the main balcony and on the side balcony. The dining room includes a table for 4/8 people, a set of sofas and cupboards with vintage plates and glasses. The kitchen is equipped with a fridge, 4 gas burners, 1 oven, 1 microwave, 2 sinks. You have access to bathroom 1 from the lounge, and from the side balcony. It includes a bathtub, toilet, bidet and sink, complete with accessories (towels, hairdryer, shampoo and soap).

Sleeping area: 3 bedrooms, bathroom 2. The rooms all have an individual balcony, overlooking the Tanagro Valley.

The three rooms are furnished with beds (2 with 1 double bed and 1 with 2 single beds) and wardrobes. Bathroom 2 includes a bathtub, toilet, bidet and sink, complete with accessories (towels, shampoo and soap).

--- Other things to highlight:

The price includes bed linen and towels, electricity, final cleaning. Available for a fee, if desired: heating.

Upon arrival, a deposit of 150 euros is required. The deposit is returned on departure, less any extra costs or accidental damage caused to the property.

Sicignano degli Alburni, Campania, Italy

Villa Amelia is located a few steps away from the historic centre, on the road that also leads to walks on the Alburni Mountains. Sicignano is a characteristic rural village, ideal for a period of absolute rest. You will have the opportunity to discover genuine food and wine products (dairy, chestnuts, etc.). Traditional festivals and celebrations are organized on an annual basis: chestnut festival (3rd Sunday in October), a living nativity scene (December), San Rocco (15-16 August).
