Located on 3 acres, approximately 7 miles from downtown Nantucket and 1 mile from the heart of Sconset village, our property is a very private all inclusive family vacation compound. The extensive outdoor living space includes a beautiful 50 foot pool, hot tub, large fence play yard, and a pool house with an outside kitchen, fireplace, TV, and full bath / changing area. The property is close to local beaches / bike paths and has access to private, neighborhood tennis courts.

“Last Dance”

First floor: The main living floor is accessible from a large covered porch through a formal entry with adjacent powder room and walk-in closet and / or through a separate mudroom entry. The mudroom entry is accessible from separate covered porches at both the driveway parking area and the pool patio area. The mudroom has a walk-in closet and full service laundry room with a sink. The main living area has an open floor plan with living, kitchen, and dining areas. The living area has comfortable seating for 10 -12 people; a wood burning fireplace; and a flat screen TV that is contained in a cabinet and accessible by remote operated motorized lift. The dining area has a large table with seating for 10 - 12 people. The kitchen features Sub Zero and Wolf appliances; a breakfast bar that can seat 4 - 6; a walk in pantry with microwave, Sub-Zero freezer drawers, and recycle bins; a wet bar with Sub-Zero beverage drawers and bar sink. The living area has direct access to the pool patio area via a covered porch. Off of the dining area is an entry hallway leading to a study / office and the master bedroom. The office / study to the left of this entry hallway has a bookcase with a flat screen TV; a desk; and 2 comfortable wing chairs for seating. The office / study has a separate exterior entrance that is accessible to the large covered front entry porch. The master suite is located to the right of this entry hallway and features a king bed; cabinet with TV; comfortable seating area; large walk-in closet with built in bureaus; and a fully private master bath. The master bath has 2 large separate vanities with drawers, a large walk-in shower; a claw foot tub; and an enclosed water closet. The master bedroom has it's own exterior entry door leading to a covered porch with direct access to the pool patio outdoor living area.

Second floor: The second floor has a living area with comfortable seating for 5 and built-in bookcases with a flat screen TV. The exterior door off of the second floor living area accesses an open deck with seating and an exterior stairway that leads directly to the pool patio outdoor living area. There are 3 bedrooms accessible off of the second floor living area. The second floor master has a king size bed. Bedroom # 2 has a queen size bed and bedroom # 3 has 2 twin size beds. All of the second floor bedrooms have separate private bathrooms with walk-in showers. The second floor master bath also features a whirlpool tub.

Third Floor: Accessed by a stairway off of the second floor living area, the third floor loft area has 4 built-in twin beds with built-in storage drawers below. There is a small wet bar area on this level with a sink and Sub Zero beverage drawers with ice maker. The roof walk is accessible from the third floor loft area by ship ladder.

Lower level: The lower level is accessible by a stairway off of the first floor main living area and features a large seating area with a 85” flat screen TV, game table, and pool table; a full service wet bar area; a full workout room; and a full bath with a walk in shower. The lower level wet bar area has seating for 4 at the bar counter area; a full sized Sub Zero refrigerator / ice maker; dishwasher; microwave; and bar sink. The lower level workout room includes a treadmill, an elliptical, a stationary bike, functional trainer; and a full set of dumbbells with a bench.The lower level living area has an exterior door leading to an outside stairway that has direct access to the outside pool patio living area.

Outside Pool Patio Area: The outside pool patio living area features an expansive patio area with multiple seating areas surrounding a 50’ X 20’ pool. At the west end of the pool patio area is the pool house which contains an open living area with seating for 12, a fireplace, a flat screen TV, and bar counter with seating for 4. To the right of the open living area in the pool house is an enclosed outside kitchen with sink, refrigerator/ice, dishwasher, microwave and viking gas cooktop. To the left of the open living area in the pool house is a full bath with walk-in shower and changing areas. Directly next to the pool house and accessible from the pool patio living area is an enclosed outside shower with changing area. At the east end of the pool patio area is a built in 6 person hot tub and a storage shed containing an abundance of pool inflatables and outdoor games. An access gate off the east end of the pool patio area leads to a large fenced play yard with a swing set and a trampoline.

Garage Studio: Directly off the outside pool patio living area is a covered porch with an exterior entrance leading to the garage second floor studio space. The garage second floor studio space includes a large bedroom with king size bed, seating area; a full bath with tub / shower; a walk-in closet; and a private deck area overlooking the pool patio area. leading to the

From the host

Our neighborhood is very private, with winding roads that make most houses not visible from the street. The neighborhood association keeps all roads and the grass edges in top conditions at all times. With limited traffic and speed limits in the neighborhood there are miles of accessible safe walking and biking areas. The neighborhood roads also have easy access to the islands extensive network of bike paths. There are two private tennis courts that are available to quests (keys available upon request).

Chris and I are long-time, year-round Nantucket residents. Chris is a Nantucket native, and my family can be traced back to the original settlers of Nantucket. We are deeply rooted in the community, and our children and grandchildren also reside on the island. Chris is a well-known island home builder/designer, and together we caretake many of the properties he has built. Our home is Chris' most recent project, completed in summer of 2019. We look forward to sharing our beautiful property with you.
