Need a Retreat?Afton Alps .Pilgrims Roost Guest Room #1 with a Million Dollar view from every window, patio and deck. Perfect for a quiet get-a-way... Come for foraging, "rivering" Birders wont be disappointed, in the warmer months Hikers, Bikers, Birders and Fishermen and Fisherwomen, Boaters (we have our own dock), Nature-Lovers, weekend get-aways. Looking for a writers retreat?We are located right off the St. Croix Trail between Hastings and Afton Alps

The space
Looking for a little piece and quiet?Here at Pilgrims Roost I have 2 Private Guest Rooms both w/ their own bathrooms. They can be rented as one for fun get-togethers w/ family or friends. Or rented separately.
Guest Room #1 has gas fireplace and washer and dryer.
Guest Room #2 has great morning light to watch river life unfold.

You can see both listings on my host profile. Both share the decks and patio's. And in the summer the dock.

I only take one booking at a time to provide a retreat-like experience for all my guests. I am fully vaccinated as well and follow a best practices cleaning protocol.

You will be welcomed through the front door of Pilgrims Roost after which you may use your own private entrance w/keyless entry for coming and going. There is private parking. Be aware there are steps and some are rustic.

This warm and rustic location is only 28 mins from MSP, a 5 minute drive from Afton Alps(its close enough as the crow flies, that we can hear the snow jets),Afton State Park, St. Croix Bluffs Regional Park Boat Launch (3miles)and the marvelous Carpenter Nature Center(5 miles).Grab dinner up in Afton only a short drive away. Stillwater or Hudson about half an hour north are great "foodie"locations these days or go down river into Prescot for some antiquing or gallery hopping and great dining on the Rivers.
