The Trinity Airbnb - where century charm meets modern style. Formerly a church, tastefully converted to an open concept home. Boasting a fully equipped eat-in kitchen, large sitting area, spacious bathroom and seasonally furnished veranda. Marvel at the original stained glass windows & 28ft wood ceilings while enjoying the convenience of modern living.
The space
Located in the quaint town of Stewiacke, touted as halfway between the north pole and equator, this former church has been been converted in to a beautiful open concept home where century charm meets modern style.
Entering the home, ones eyes are immediately drawn to the 28ft wood ceilings and two of the original stained glass windows, backlit with remote controlled accent lighting.
Tucked away up in the new loft addition, you'll find a large, yet cozy king size bed to ensure you'll have a comfortable sleep, and a chest of drawers offers plenty of space to organize your clothes during your stay. A large flat screen TV can be watched from the comfort of bed and a cozy nook with a couch is the perfect place to curl up and read a book.
This home has a beautiful sitting/living area, furnished with a comfortable couch that can also be used for additional sleep space, and a large flat screen TV with cable, android box and Netflix. A surround sound stereo system is available for the music lovers - an AUX cord & iPhone adapter are available for portable music devices.
Where the altar once was, is now a spacious eat-in kitchen. Crisp, clean and modern, this kitchen is fully equipped for all of your cooking needs. Enjoy a tasty home cooked meal around the huge dining room table, or sip a quiet cup of coffee at the bistro set and watch the passersby through the window.
This home is entirely open concept, with the exception of the spacious bathroom. Looking much like a walkway to an outside entrance, this bathroom is brightly lit, has an elegant glass walk-in shower, washer, dryer, and ample counter space.
Outside is sure to please, as well as this property boasts a large 12 x 30 veranda that is seasonally furnished with plenty of comfortable seating space, a dining set and barbecue.
During your stay, you'll have the convenience of keyless entry, free WiFi and cable TV. Air conditioning for the hot summer days, and a wood stove for those chilly winter nights.

Being set in the centre of a quiet, rural town offers a nice retreat from the busy hustle, without sacrificing convenience. Within walking distance to a grocery store, restaurant/pub, pizza shop, fast food establishments, coffee shop, spa, local distillery and liquor store. A 20 minute drive from Truro for bigger shopping centres (i.e. Sobeys, Walmart, Canadian Tire, shopping malls, etc.) and a 20 minute drive from the Halifax Airport.
Take a wander through one of our 3 groomed walking trails, or take in some bird watching as the tide rushes in along the riverside. Catch a round of golf, do some river rafting, or check out our local art gallery. Only 45 minutes from Halifax, you're sure to find something to do!
