Sitting in a supreme clifftop coastal position, East Hook and the fantastic Farmhouse offers an impressively restored traditional Welsh barn conversion-come-cottage that offers the perfect retreat.

Beautifully and tastefully renovated, retaining many original features, you'll feel the love of this warm and friendly farmhouse the moment you arrive.

The space
Stylishly and sympathetically decorated and furnished throughout in soft tones with the occasional vibrant hue, the farmhouse exudes quality, peace and tranquillity, offering practical accommodation for both family and friends seeking a coastal holiday throughout the year. There are also several other cottages at East Hook which can be booked with The Farmhouse to allow for larger groups to holiday together if this is needed. If not, they also work fantastically, as self-contained cottages.

The Farmhouse is also dog-friendly, allowing you to bring up to 2 dogs*.

Imagine cooking a family feast in a most gorgeous farmhouse kitchen after a day exploring the glorious beaches and coast path nearby.
An ensuite shower room is positioned off the double bedroom on the ground floor with 3 further bedrooms on the first floor and family bathroom, all enjoying stunning sea views. Relax in the sitting room adjoining the conservatory together planning the next day excursions, a must between April & August would be a boat trip to meet the puffins on nearby Skomer Island.

Children will love the large lawned garden, which is great for the dog too. The patio, overlooking the bay is the perfect spot for al fresco lunches or after a sundowner, time out in perfect peace under the starry skies. The village of Marloes is just a mile away, where there is a small local shop, cafe & pub. The sheltered coastal village of Dale is 4 miles away, ideal for watersports, sailing, and SUP activities. Children will love crabbing off the pontoon. You can dine in at the Griffin Inn or The Yacht Club, or have ice creams in the beach cafe.

There are 4 bedrooms sleeping a maximum of 8, and two family bathrooms. On the ground floor, a Master bedroom with ensuite shower room double bed, wardrobe, chest, armchair, bedside tables, lamps. You will then step up into the ensuite shower room, which has a shower, washbasin, toilet, heated towel rail, and mirror.

On the First-floor, you will find a boat-shaped bookcase with a selection of books for you to read during your stay.

A spacious, luxurious double room with king-size bed, chest of drawers, bedside tables, washbasin in room, mirror, clothes rail, and 2 comfortable chairs is found with superb sea views.

There are then two twin rooms. The first twin room is ideal for children and has 2 single beds, a vanity washbasin, mirror, built-in wardrobe, bedside table with lamp, shelf with children's books, lampshade with sharks, a 'mackerel' cushion, and once more, lovely sea views round off the room. Then a spacious twin room, again with stunning sea views encompasses 2 full-size single beds, washbasin, mirror, chest of drawers, wardrobe, bedside tables, lamps which would be more suited to adults sharing or older children.

There is a family bathroom with a shower, washbasin, heated towel rail, shelving, toilet, and great sea views out across the land to the sea, which includes Skomer Island.

On the ground floor, a spacious, well-equipped, and bespoke farmhouse kitchen, set in pale duck egg blue, includes a 5 hob Rangemaster, double oven, microwave, toaster, kettle, fridge/freezer, and a kitchen island with breakfast bar and stools. There are ample coat hooks & a shoe storage rack. The dining room is a characterful room with exposed beams, a large farmhouse table seating up to 8, a wood-burner, lamps, chest, lovely sea views, chairs, DAB radio, CD player & Bluetooth speakers.

The sitting room has a 3-seater sofa, a 2-seater sofa, 2 easy chairs, a rug, lamps, seaside themed coffee table, TV with built-in DVD player bookcase with a selection of books & DVDs. The conservatory is an idyllic room to sit in and take in the views, with it's panoramic sea views, you can make the most of the table, wicker sofa and chairs. The room also features a lamp and double doors to the patio and garden.

The doors lead to large, enclosed lawned grounds, with a patio with garden furniture, sharing in the stunning views across St. Brides Bay to Skomer Island & beyond. There is ample parking for several cars at East Hook for guests of the Farmhouse.
