Welcome to The Phineas Handerson House, originally built in 1827 by the “the happiest man in town” Able Wilder. Modern eclectic one-bedroom apartment, just one block from Central Square in Downtown Keene. Featuring newly remodeled kitchen, fitted with electric range and microwave. Other tenants occupy part of the building, but guests have a private entrance and off-street parking behind the building. Comfortable for two guests but can sleep up to four. Pet friendly!

The space
Staircase that ascends to the apartment is very steep. The sofa in the living room pulls out into a queen size bed. Full bath with shower and small tub. Wifi, internet, and basic cable are all provided. Kitchen is equipped with coffee maker, toaster, electric tea kettle, and utensils.

Guest access
The entire apartment and the laundry room is guest accessible.

Other things to note
Originally the maids quarters and has a very steep one story staircase. Well behaved pets are welcome, but we do ask that you add them to your reservation as an extra child guest. Pets are not to be left unattended in the space unless placed in a guest provided crate or something similar.

Long Term Stays(monthly) are welcome and automatically get a 30% discount.

Expendables and Toiletries
For stays longer then five days, guest will be expected to supply their own toilet paper, tissues, soap, shampoo, coffee, spices etc.

Keys
Please keep the key in the lock box whenever you leave the house. Lost keys are subject to a $50 key replacement fee.

Please remember to take all of your personal belongings including electronics with you upon checkout. We are not responsible for any items left behind under any circumstances and while we will use best efforts to get them back to you we offer no promises or guarantees. You will be charged the respective shipping fee for any items left behind in addition to $25 for our time in finding, packaging and shipping.
