This house is located on the Ironman course that runs along Water St! This historic 1900's house has great views of the Choptank River, the Malkus Bridge and the light house. Located in Cambridge, MARYLAND, it has a living room, 2 bedrooms, 1.5 baths & a stone floor eat-in kitchen. The location is ideal for walking to town, biking along the river or kayaking just across the street. Close to all of the shops & restaurants. Cable TV & reliable WiFi included.

The space
Water Street is a turn of the century "shotgun house" with a great deal of charm and great natural light. It is small but very accommodating for a party of 2-4 adults or 2 adults and 2-3 children. Please note it has a narrow winding staircase and small bathrooms. There are 2 bedrooms upstairs each with a King-sized bed and a twin bed. There is a full bath between the 2 bedrooms and a powder room off the kitchen. The side deck is a great place for morning coffee or evening cocktails as it affords a great view of the mighty Choptank River.
Views of the water, the Bridge, and the sunsets are exceptional. The house is just blocks away from historic High Street and a few more blocks from the historic downtown area where some great restaurants reside. Water Street showcases fresh linens along with hand-cut crystal serving pieces and lightening fast internet service. Original oil paintings by local well-loved artists grace the walls.
Pets are welcome but there is an additional charge & please make sure you read our full "pet policy" under the rules.

I am a retired Wall Street Portfolio Manager. I love to restore magnificent old architecturally-rich homes. I have restored a number of homes in Cambridge and elsewhere. As a hostess it is my goal to make your visit as comfortable and fun as humanly possible. I can arrange for great fresh crabs and fish, I can schedule fishing and hunting trips, and I can certainly highlight all of the best restaurants, shops and destinations around Dorchester and Talbot Counties. If anything is not in the apartment that you require there is a great chance that I can provide it. The Eastern Shore is truly a magical place...and it has skies full of stars on very dark nights!!! I mention the magical part after having spent most of my life happily living in 6 major US cities and 2 foreign cities...nothing compares with the beauty, wildlife, peace, ease of life, and variety of people you will find on the Eastern Shore...from my humble perspective. :)
