Where you’ll be

Canaan, Connecticut, United States

Canaan is small-town America at it’s best! We have our beautiful Canaan Union Railroad Depot, which is the largest Victorian railroad station in the United States and is located right in the center of town and just across the street from this AirB&B with varying numbers of trains a day making their way through town. We have a population of about 3,315. We encompass 19 square miles of rolling hills at the base of the Berkshire Mountains. Hope you come and visit us!!

Be sure and check out the GUIDEBOOK on this sight for lots of local attractions and points of interest such as hiking trails, museums, lakes, water falls, etc.

I’ m a very active senior citizen who paddle boards, kayaks and bikes. I’ve lived in this area mostly all my life. My home belonged to my Grandparents since 1951, the year it was built, and I spent a good part of my childhood here! I’m happy to call it home now. I have two adult children, one of whom lives in the area and helps with any maintenance/repairs this building may have. He lives nearby and can be called if I’m not readily available.
