Welcome to Rose-Eh-Chalet. This spacious open concept A-frame cottage brags scenic views from every window and angle.

The space
Upon entering the cottage you will be welcomed by the natural light and beautiful surroundings that filter through the windows, and the feeling of spaciousness that embraces you. The modern kitchen has 3 stainless steel appliances, including a dishwasher, with easy access to the large deck for entertaining, BBQing and lounging. You're also steps away from the no motor, crystal clear limestone bottom lake.

The two bedrooms on the second level have a walkout onto a private balcony overlooking the lake. From here you can drink in the serenity of your surroundings while sipping your morning coffee, or afternoon wine. You'll experience the spa-like shower, with natural pebble flooring, a large size rain head shower, and a view of the woods. Winding your way up to the third floor, you will delight in a trendy, IG-able loft with tonnes of swagger. It's a great place to chill!

Lazy days or busy days, that's your decision, but we're just a short 15 minute drive to the town of Bancroft where there are breweries, restaurants, mines, fishing, and hiking trails to be explored and experienced. Or, just stay put and enjoy all that the cottage has to offer, including watercraft (canoe, kayaks, peddle boat), fantastic fishing, lakeside fire pit, games, record player and books.

Our guess is that you'll leave this dreamy oasis lighter than you came because at Rose-Eh we don't recycle stress, we bury it.

PLEASE READ NOTES ABOUT THE DRIVEWAY BEFORE BOOKING.

You'll be able to access our entire property. We ask guests to keep dogs on leash and not allow them to roam onto the neighbours property. Please only park in our designated parking area.

Other things to note
While we would love to host everyone, guests with mobility issues are not advised to book. Guests must walk down a steep driveway to get to the cottage, parking is at the top (unless you have AWD or 4x4). A wagon is made available to transport items from vehicles. Terrain of the property can be uneven and rocky.

WINTER STAYS:
Guests staying with us in November, December and winter months. You will need 4x4 or AWD as the snow can sometimes cause the road in to be slippery and snow covered. It is plowed, but this is a must during this time of year. In winter there is no car access down our driveway, guests must park up top and walk in/down the driveway that has an incline.

Guests are responsible for removing their garbage and recycling from the premise at the end of their stay as we do not have curb side pick up in the woods.

We do have neighbours on either side of us, our property is heavily treed and you won't see them from the cottage, but perhaps you might see them sitting on their docks, wave hello! They are private people and will keep to themselves. We ask that you respect them and noise levels while staying with us.
