Great location
100% of recent guests gave the location a 5-star rating.
Orchard House was originally built for the innkeepers of The Osborne Inn. It is modeled after the 1880's historic granary north of Orchard House. This 3-level home faces the "pioneer orchard," conveniently located on Main Street & 2nd South, in the Historic District, next to the Osborne Inn. A visit to the galleries, pottery shop, restaurants and festivities are just a short walk away. Enjoy the pristine mountain air, star-lit skies , stunning sunsets, and quiet peace of Spring City.

The space
Orchard House has a couple of stairs going up to the front porch. As you enter the front door to the right are stairs going up into the Loft-Study area. There is a double-sized futon and bathroom with tiled shower. There are plenty of books of varied assortment to enjoy. Views from the loft windows, include the historic chapel across the street, and Mt. Nebo to the west. Downstairs on the main floor there is a laundry and 1/2 bath (toilet and sink) and Great Room with kitchen, dining area, and sofa. The kitchen has all the amenities needed to create your cooking pleasures, granite counter tops, gas stove with double oven, and a microwave with light and fan. There is a pull-out spice and can rack, and a SS double door fridge with lower pullout freezer. A pull-out trashcan is to the right of the fridge. Five rustic stools allow eating at the counter and an Amish-built dining table with benches and chairs accommodates family gatherings. There is a sectional sofa and a smart TV with dvd player with a few games under the TV. Downstairs are 2 bedrooms, the east one has a queen bed and the west one has a double bed. Each bedroom has a full-size closet. A full-bath with shower is conveniently located close to the bedrooms. There is also a small den with a double-sized pull-out sofa.
The oak floors on the upper two levels and trim found throughout the Orchard House were cut and milled in Michigan.

SQ Footage of Orchard House:
1500 total (Loft 300 sq. ft, main floor 600 sq. ft., lower level 600 sq. ft.)

Orchard House has a circular drive which can be used by small compact cars. Larger vehicles/trucks can park at the green "XX" in front of the red/green clinic, or on 200 south. The clinc is just north of Orchard House. Drive slowly coming in and out of driveway.

A window air-conditioner is used in the main floor area in the summer.
Ceiling fans: loft, main floor and 2 lower level bedrooms.
The windows can be opened to let in the cool mountain breezes in the evening.
Please let the innkeeper know if you need the A/C put in the window.

Large Black Trash Can for your trash is located on the south patio by inn.

Where you’ll be

Spring City, Utah, United States

This humble treasure called Spring City, UT, is a trip back in time. It is a registered National Historic District and is full of nostalgic charm. Most of the homes are on acreage, just as our forefathers planned it 100+ years ago. The "mormon acre" had everything on it for a family to live quite contentedly on. The original Osborne family related that they had no idea that there was a "Great Depression" as life went on normally here. They had everything they needed on their acre. Spring City is very walkable and convenient to a couple of galleries, Horseshoe Mountain Pottery, and our two delicious eateries, Das Cafe and the 89 Grill. The neighbors are quiet but watchful of their city. A short drive to Spring City Canyon or Canal Creek will get you right into the beauty of the mountains where peace and respite can envelope the traveler.
