This converted barn is in the ideal location for exploring Cumbria and Northumberland with a plethora of walks and cycle routes on the doorstep. . 2 steps to entrance.

Tiled floors throughout.
Living/dining room: With 42" Smart TV, Amazon Echo and French doors leading to garden.
Kitchen: With electric oven, electric hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, coffee machine and washing machine.
Shower room: With walk-in shower, toilet and heated towel rail.
First Floor:
Bedroom 1: With kingsize bed and wooden floor.
Bedroom 2: With twin beds and wooden floor.
Bathroom: With bath, toilet, heated towel rail and tiled floor.. Oil underfloor central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Hot tub for 4 (private). 1 dog welcome, to be kept on a lead at all times (sheep country). Private parking for 2 cars. No smoking. Please note: There are 3 steps in the garden. . Their peaceful, rural location makes it feel off the beaten track and yet it is just 2 miles from Alston and just off the Alston to Penrith road, which connects you to the Lake District National Park. There is a network of public footpaths direct from the doorstep, linking up to numerous trails and cycle routes. The archaeological remains of Whitley Castle (Roman fort), described as the ’hidden gem of the North Pennines’, is a stone’s throw from the property. Leadgate Holiday Cottages are perfectly situated as a touring base for exploring a wealth of natural and historical treasures in the area. Hadrian’s Wall is only a short drive away, with the Scottish Border and the Lake District approximately 25 miles. Nearby Alston, 2 miles, the highest market town in England, offers an interesting array of cafés, shops, pubs, and 9-hole golf. Shop, pub and restaurant 2 miles.
