This is the worst review ever that I had since I let the apartment for many years. Nevertheless, I would like to thank her for drawing our attention to potential improvements. I feel really sorry that the client had such a negative experience.
Saying this the unit is not accurately described. Below I explain.
WHAT IS NOT TRUE: the statement that this is an “old building and has not been well maintained or renovated in some time” is not true The building was fully renovated, including its façade, entrance, elevators and aspects of pluming (by a serious company linked to the university).
The overall description of the apartment as dated is not correct. We have intentionally old and new furniture as part of the design statement, and all of it functional. However, we have considered this comment and made some amendments (below).
There were allegedly problems with the hot water. The client should have been written that the highest heat level – that is, 70 degrees – was not working. All lower levels were working, with a maximum heat of 50-60 degrees.
The heating is not appropriate. The heating has been bought after consulting a specialist with reference to the square meters and conditions of the unit. It has been thought as more than satisfactory by so many others. In fact we have several regular customers in the winter.
The caretaker appeared unannounced at the apartment – this was after the client had written me about the hot water system. I texted that the caretaker was informed and will appear to deal with the problem.
WHAT HAS BEEN IMPROVED. We take the wellbeing of our clients very seriously. Following the client’s comments we reviewed all aspects considered in great detail, and made improvements where necessary. These are the following:
We bought additional towels and linens.
We got rid of two chest of drawers that were perhaps too old and not necessary, and instead we bought desks. Additional photos have been made.
The hot water now works at a maximum of 70 degrees.
We bought a new microwave.
I have extensively discussed with the caretaker issues concerning cleaning the apartment. We take this seriously. This winter was the first time that we hear about such problems. Any issues are now rectified.
The toilet door has some chips at the very bottom. We plan to change the door.
The clients that followed have communicated that they are very happy with the apartment.
