The space
Experience luxury farmhouse living at its finest at Cavalier Farm in Glenwood, New Jersey. This immaculately maintained property features a fully equipped chef's kitchen, two cozy wood fireplaces, a game room, a library, and state-of-the-art Sonos speakers. Sleeping up to 10 guests, the property boasts three bedrooms and 2.5 baths, including one king bed, two queen beds, two twin bunk beds, and a queen pull-out sofa.
Surrounded by 47 semi-wooded mystical acres and located just an hour from New York City, Cavalier Farm offers a tranquil escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

Our Spaces Include:
Kitchen and Open Dining Room: This kitchen is built for a chef and is great if you want to be the star of your family or group. Its oversized side-by-side freezer and fridge will give you plenty of space to store everything you need for your gathering. The Chef’s natural gas range will allow you to cook like a professional and the open kitchen concept will allow you to entertain all at the same time. We also feature a wood-burning fireplace insert here that allows you to really create the mood. I personally love spending a lot of time in this space with the open concept and natural lighting it brings in.
Deck: Featuring a sprawling view of the farm and land we sit on. Watch the goats, cows, horses, ducks, and chickens walk around while sitting around a massive firepit that is also a grill for your favorite meals. You have one big space that is divided into three separate areas. The fire pit is in the middle, a lounging area to the right, and an outdoor dining area to the left!
Living Room: Get cozy here with another wood-burning fireplace, a sitting area, and big comfy couches while you watch a game or your favorite family movie.
Library: thousands of books from 1st editions to collectibles. The library overlooks the open kitchen on the top floor and leads into the primary suite.
Primary Suite: Just next to the library and can be completely privatized with wrapping steps down to your own private ensuite full bathroom. This room features a plush king bed and a wonderful sitting area.
Bedroom 2: Located on the ground floor this bedroom features a queen bed and leads out to another living room with a couch and TV.
Bedroom 3: Located on the ground floor this bedroom features a queen bed and leads out to another living room with a couch and TV.
Bedroom/Den 4: What child doesn’t like bunk beds? Between the game and living room on the ground floor, we have 2 twin sized bunks with a queen pullout sofa for additional space.
Game Room: Foosball, basketball, board games galore. What I love so much about this room is that we converted the garage into a space where people of all ages can play all day, and my favorite part is that you can open the garage to really open the space.
Animals: Great for the kids and really ties in the total farm experience, the home sits between our goats, ducks, horses, and cows. At any given time you might run into farmer Keith and he will probably ask if you want to hold one of our baby goats :)

Live Nativity:
With the most joyous season approaching, join us for the most amazing, interactive Living Nativity without animals and staff, inside our amazing barn in Glenwood, NJ. We are extending this to private sessions of groups of 10 or more members, organizations, families, and friends. Our living nativity will be a hands-on experience with our staff in costume, while the true meaning of Christmas is told. Photo opportunities are available. BBQ Dinner By Keith the Farmer and 30-year Pitmaster:
Menus include but are not limited to pig roast, ribs, pork butts, pork loins, chicken halves, chicken wholes, prime ribs, roast beef, top rounds, turkey, ham, sausage, bratwurst, vegetables, potatoes, mac & cheese and so much more. Let us know and we can design a menu with you after making your reservation.
Private Farm Tours by Farmer Keith:
A private tour of the farm meeting and greeting all of our amazing animals and learning about each one’s behavior and care. Have the opportunity to go and feed all the animals inside the barn. We have rabbits, chickens, cows, ducks, geese, goats, sheep, alpacas, horses, miniature horses, ponies, and mules. Many of these animals have babies depending on the time of year. Collect fresh eggs too, an experience like no other. Please inquire after making your reservation.
Goat Hikes:
Please come and join us for a wonderful hike with our Goats, alongside the Appalachian Trail on our beautiful Farm. We welcome you to hike along with our hiking goats, enjoying their company, play, fitness, goat antics, and wonderful animal therapy.. it is a 1 -1.5 hour hike starting at our farm.
All hikers must be at least 8 years old and accompanied by a parent, if under 16. Hiking shoes must be worn. Some areas may be a little wet along the path. The hike is an advanced beginner or intermediate hike just because of the uneven ground it is not a groomed path. We will also stop at a meet/greet play area and rest with the goats for approx. 20 minutes. Please inquire after making your reservation.
Goat Yoga:
Enjoy doing yoga and enjoy goats there is no better way to experience them both. You can be a novice or a seasoned yogi. This is a great activity for all! Please inquire after making your reservation.
