Furnished room with AC. Bathroom down the hall. Washer and dryer access, plenty of room in the garage for storage! House amenities include kitchen, dining room, and living room. TV and DVD player for guests! ADT. No furry pets. No 420. YES LOCKS!
Xbox 360, desk, lamp, printer and upgraded TV added October 2015! A Mini-Fridge was added Spring of 2015. The TV, DVD player, DVD's etc for guest use during your stay! A/C and heat works great though so its very comfortable all year round. Renters may use all the facilities in the common areas of the house. Each room has a key to lock it up and keep things safe. The house is secured by ADT as well. Its furnished with a queen size bed, dresser, and a mini-fridge. The house is fairly close to Lackland AFB, but not TOO close if you understand.
It can accommodate 2 people who are sharing the bed. A third if you use the air mattress, but please check before booking because there's only 1 extra air mattress to go around.
Fresh and clean linens and towels are provided and I generally have spare bathroom essentials in case you forgot anything. Paying it forward for future guests is appreciated as well!
This is a real room with real walls. I know this sounds like a silly thing to say in the description but one guest may have accidentally checked in to the den. Don't do that. There's a door with the number 2 on it in the hall to your right. That's the one you're looking for. If you turned left in to the den which has curtains and air mattresses that is sometimes in use as overflow, that's not your room, obviously.
Renters have access to all the common areas in the house. You will be provided keys to lock your room as well as a key code for entry to the house. I also have a big screen TV and several game consoles including an Xbox 360 you can play! Please respect my save files though. As of October 2015, a new adjustable hand-held shower-head has replaced the old ball-joint one.
There is parking on both the curb and in the driveway. When parking is crowded, please be a team player, and talk to other guests about parking behind them BEFORE if possible. When in doubt, park behind the red truck or on the curb across the street. If you have predilections about parking on the curb, fair warning, it might be unavoidable so work that out with other guests. No leaving passive aggressive notes, just contact me or the co-host if the other guest is asleep or something.
Interaction with guests
My work schedule changes from nights to days off and on so I may not be here. Carl is the co-host and keeps an eye on the house when I'm at work and might be the one to greet you. We don't like drama so leave that behind you here and chillax. Outstanding warrants, potential security concerns, or being on a sex offender list are grounds for refusal. Guests will not be discriminated against based on religion or lack of it, race, gender, orientation, internet-sub-cultures, etc.
Other things to note
If you are renting this space for a friend, you MUST make them aware of the rules and will be held accountable for their behavior.
If you are on PROBATION, PAROLE, or have a FELONY you must make the details known beforehand and get permission to rent the room. There are alcohol and weapons in the house which may violate terms of probation for some individuals.
See how cable tv is crossed out? That means we don't have it. Netflix and Amazon Firestick can be made available if you ask ahead of time! The den and living room area are sometimes rented out. If they are not clearly occupied they will be available for use as well. If you see pillows or blankets or a CLOSED sign, then probably not. There are other video game titles available as well, just ask, if it came out before 2015 I probably have it.
Air BnB's policy requires me to inform you that there is a security camera located outside the house pointed at the entrance and driveway area with a live feed to my phone for safety and accountability purposes.

ABSOLUTELY NO ILLEGAL DRUGS! Not even "special cookies". Please label your food if you plan on using the house fridge and respect others living here. No smoking inside. No furry pets (non-allergy pets like fish, lizards are okay). Absolutely no illegal drugs or 420 discussion with intent to distribute, procure, or aid in procurement on the premises until Federal Law changes. BYOB is okay and encouraged if you're sharing.

I'm a Computer Network Professional. I am also ex-Air Force so military and civilian government employees are especially welcome here! I work nights, so I will probably be asleep most of the day.
I used to travel a lot, but now I'm a bit tied down to the San Antonio area. There is a lot to do here anyway so its a fun place to live.
I believe people should be very respectful of each other here and people of any religious affiliation or lacking thereof are welcome to stay here judgement free. Please keep in mind, under local and state law, nobody can be discriminated against from renting out property based on religion, gender, sexuality or military service. This is America! All the huddled masses are welcome.
I am super allergic to cats and dogs though! That is why I don't allow them.
