The house is cosy and quirky, filled with original artworks that we have collected over the years. The room is light and airy with a south facing aspect that keeps the sun all day. There is a very large shared bathroom and shower room.
Downstairs you can use and share any of the available space from living room with comfortable sofa and wide screen television, through the dinning room, kitchen and conservatory. Outside there's a south facing garden with decking, chairs and pergola which is a joy to sit in all year round.
A ten minute walk or bus ride from the attractions of the UKs fastest growing city with its world famous National Museum (and the biggest single collection of impressionist paintings on permanent display), Opera at the WMC, Millennium Stadium with its year round programme of the best in international sport, restaurants, bars and shopping.
Twenty minutes by bus and train from the central station can be found some of the most stunning scenery and landscape in the UK; from the majestic sands and dunes of Ogmore by Sea to the mountainous Brecon Beacons.
Interaction with guests
We're quite happy to share breakfast with you and give you as much advice as you need to make your stay a pleasant one. We feel passionate about Cardiff and about Wales and really enjoy sharing our knowledge of the area. You're welcome to share a beer or coffee with us in our regular hang outs or just take your key and explore the area on your own without us getting in the way.
Other things to note
Dave works away some of the time so we may not both be around. We are happy to consider long term or variable options
No smoking in the house. Though you can go into the garden (as we do!) if you want a cigarette.
Clean up if you've used the kitchen.
We look forward to seeing you here.
