Our farmhouse is a traditional stone cottage in a magical mountain setting, surrounded by waterfalls, and natural springs, it is also close to the sea. There are forty acres of fields and woodland that guests are welcome to explore. The old farmhouse Is both comfortable and traditional and furnished with antiques. There is a cosy sitting room with large sofas and a wood burning stove and a bright, spacious kitchen with Aga and views overlooking the valley and Knockanouganish Mountain opposite.

Other things to note
Well the water supply comes directly from the river above the house. Mostly it is clear but occasionally, after a lot of rain for example, it can become murky, which can be disconcerting, especially if you are having a bath! We drink filtered water from the tap and sometimes buy shop water. The choice is yours, but we will provide some bottled water. Other things to note are that the phone reception is very weak where we are, which might be annoying to some. There are ponies on the land, they are friendly and gentle, but should still be met with caution if you are exploring the fields. The farm is in the process of rehabilitation and is still a little wild, you should just be aware, but we want you to feel free to enjoy the land.
