We will welcome you in our large town house in the center of Roubaix, situated a mere 50m from the metro station and tramway, and within walking distance of the Musée de la Piscine, the Colisée and other points of interest in the city.

You will enjoy exclusive access to the whole 2nd floor comprising 2 rooms, 1 bathroom and private toilets. Each room features a double bed.

The space
The house is perfectly renovated, yet retains all aspects of traditional "bourgeoise" houses in the area : high ceilings with moulding, marble fireplaces with mirrors, parquet and mosaic floors.

The guest rooms are furnished and decorated in a simple and natural style, with brand new luxury latex mattresses, hemp sheets, and some of my own paintings on the walls. The bathroom is refined and the water softened.

Guest access
You are welcome to share a drink in our living room by the fireplace, and you will have access to the dinning room where coffee will be served in the morning - unless the weather allows to have it on the the terrace.

Other things to note
The 2 rooms are never rented out to 2 different groups of hosts - for your convenience.

For 2 persons who would not want to share the same room, please book for 3 so the second bedroom is made available to you.

Roubaix, Hauts-de-France, France

Once facing the challenges linked to deindustrialisation and their related economic and social implications, Roubaix is now reversing decades of decline at an impressive pace, with numerous trendy boutiques and fashion studios, factory outlets and snappy restaurants hidden in old brick factories and warehouses. There are close to 400 art studios across the city, with most of the artists traditionally opening their work spaces to the public once a year for the « Nuit des Arts », and the city is also becoming the capital of urban culture and street art. Oh, I almost forgot : Roubaix is home to the finishing of one of the world's oldest races of professional road cycling, and the city now boasts the most famous museum in northern France, « La Piscine », the Art Deco-style former swimming pool. Of course there is much more to it and we'll be happy to share our best places and advices for your stay in and around Roubaix!

Our house is located on one of the best streets of the area, between the Grand Place and the Parc Barbieux.
