COZY studio-loft with kitchen facilities, private bathroom and a wild backyard garden. The apartment is well decorated and equiped for a perfect stay.
Located in mid town nearby the bus station, bank and city hall and next to a groceries shop.

The space

The studio loft is a beautiful space with a very high ceiling and many windows, creating a natural ventilation and keeping the space fresh with no need of Air Co.

The mid town studio loft is surrounded by a wild spacious garden with trees and local plants and flowers. The garden is shared with the host who lives in a Palapa (an open-sided typical mayan dwelling with a roof made of dried palm leave). The garden is big enough giving both complete privacy.

Just next to the studio there is a grocery store where you can find fresh fruits and vegetables, as well as others, owned by a Mayan family.

Guest access

The guest has complete acces to the garden, wifi internet connection and hot water.

Montserrat is the best and friendliest host you can imagine. Excellent information beforehand and good communication made the place very easy to find. Clean and spacious studio with all the things you need. The studio is 100m from Main street and a short taxiride to the Beach. Stayed for five days and would definitely stay there next time we go to Tulum.

Great host, very clean and spacious place. However, it was hard to sleep at night due to cruising trucks and buses by the window; and it is hard to avoid the animals since the place is in the garden and not well sealed. We had lots of mosquito bites, saw a couple lizards, and a scorpion in the room. There is free water in the room, which is very nice.

Montserrat's home is exactly as it's pictured. The hammock is great to relax in after a long day of visiting the ruins and swimming with the turtles, and the large windows made the space really airy. Mosquito netting everywhere kept us safe from their bites! the location is in a great part of downtown tulum, which we loved staying in to see how the locals lived. And it is only a 10 minute cab ride from the tulum ruins and the beaches so we got to easily experience it all.

Staying at Montserrat's place made our stay in Tulum 10x better! Her studio was beautiful and spacious stocked with everything you need. Central Tulum is up the street where you can find local restaurants, bars, souvenir shops and lots more. I would highly recommend staying here

Place was great! In the heart of tulum. Great places to eat in the area. Some of the best tacos I ever had. There was a place a block away to rent bikes, which I used to get to the ruins and the beach. The place was clean and as described. Monteserrat was such a great host. She gave her recommendations and advice for exploring her area. She even gave me some electrolyte powder to rehydrate after a long day at the ruins and beach. There is no ac but the it's cooler due to the ventilation. Another plus is her place is super close to the ADO bus station. An excellent, safe, cheap ride from the airport.

Montserrat is the sweetest woman we are so happy to have stayed here. Right in the middle of town, one street west of Avendia Tulum. Perfect amount of space for a couple to enjoy eachothers company inside and easy access to everything tulum has to offer. Montserrat is super helpful and suggested some really great places for us to check out that were off the beaten path. Highly recommended
