This is a beautifully restored Victorian shepherd's hut, with a raised double bed at one end - no lambs underneath now! The hut is fully electrified, heated and with WiFi, though download speeds are rather slow. Tea and coffee making facilities are provided. Outside is a small patio area, suitable for a BBQ in the summer and a kitchen shelter / camp kitchen.
The space
This is "Glamping" at its best, and although the accommodation is what it is - a Victorian tin-can on wheels - it is beautiful, cosy and we think you will love it. Although mainly for "self-caterers" a simple breakfast of choice of cereals, yoghurt, hot croissants and fresh rolls, honey, jam and marmalade can be provided to your door each morning on request (£5 perhead). Along a short path is your own outside WC / shower room with heated towel rail, and underfloor heating if the weather is unseasonal. If you come at the same time as friends in the main annexe, they have all the room - you have the patio and garden. You can dine with them but they can do the washing up! You will also pay a lot less.

External WC and shower along a short path for sole use of Shepherd's Hut occupants

Location
Bowerchalke, England, United Kingdom
The village of Bowerchalke lies in the tranquil and relatively unexplored Chalke Valley, about 10 miles south west of Salisbury. The beautiful ancient Knowle Barn, well known for hosting wedding receptions and other functions is round the corner. There are well stocked village shops in Sixpenny Handley and Broad Chalk, and an abundance of great local pubs. There is wonderful walking in glorious local countryside and browsing through the small towns of Shaftesbury and Tisbury (do visit Messums' of Wiltshire) offers much to local visitors. A great few days away!
