Nature nature everywhere! Come enjoy a memorable stay surrounded by nature in our adorable Airstream named Lovebird . This is ac unique off grid camping experience that allows you to really feel what this life style is all about.
No light pollution allows to completel unobstructed views of the Milky Way. Plenty of wildlife to check out as you're camping in the middle of their home.
We provide all the amenities you will need for a cozy stay

The space
This beautiful Airstream is Lovebird!

There's a full kitchen with all the cookin basics you'll need including dishes, cookware, silverware, French press and coffee, and pots and pans.

A few things to know about Lovebird

We run completely off of solar power. So we always do our best to conserve power.

There is no ac or built in heat. We provide a fan in the summer for day time use only (please don't mess up the power by running anything over night or attempting to turn on the overhead ac) and a Mr Buddy camping heater for those cold winters (can be used over night but we never do). Remember, this is camping and not a hotel or a house. Check the weather an Dress accordingly .

We haul our own water here

We Clean with green chemicals that are safe but effective and we disinfect the entire place before new guests arrive

Pets are welcome at NO ADDITIONAL fee. All we ask is no fleas please!

This is an amazingly nice Airstream but this is still camping in nature on raw land. Understand that you may incounter all kinds of wild life and we aren't responsible for wildlife meetings. Simply take pictures but leave the wildlife alone. Take nothing but memories, leave nothing but footprints is how we like to live. Every life here matters and means something to this environment. A minor inconvenience for you is not worth taking the life of a native. Please keep that in mind when you travel into the home of the animals.

*Winter Notice*

*Check the weather before arrival and dress accordingly

From Mid October-May (tentatively) when the temps are freezing,  we MUST turn off all running water to protect our pumps and pipes. We will provide water in multiple gallons in the kitchen and bathroom. We recommend brining extra water incase all of ours freezes. This goes for every structure on our property including our home. Dont let this deter you from staying here! See this as a way to live like a local since most of us out here do not have running water in the winter.

Guest access
Please enjoy the area around lovebird but please respect the privacy of our other guests and only enter your designated rental

Other things to note
*please only follow coordinates (address IS correct but is duplicated on the other side of highway)

*no shoes inside

*please do your dishes

Water may or may not be available during your stay. please pay attention to the message you receive on the day of your reservation as to whether or not running water and showers are available. Not only does weather affect water availability,  but so does the condition of each piece of equipment that is tested daily. Water will be provided in multiple gallons of water in the kitchen and 1 in the bathroom. for instructions on how to take a "Locals Shower" using these gallons please let me know!! We will always be happy to bring you extra gallons. Please remember that this is how we live full time , try to enjoy living as a local !

We are a free spirited couple who moved away from Los Angeles to be connected with nature and ourselves and meet like minded people. Lorren is a southern belle and animal lover born in Central, South Carolina and living all along the South. Chris is a musician and business owner born and raised in LA. Our plan is to be self sufficient and off grid on our land. We enjoy meeting people and introducing them to the wonders of the desert. During your visit, you can expect us to respect your privacy but have the reassurance that we are on / near the property should you need anything during your visit. Our lifestyle is very casual, free, and low key. We love to explore the stars and talk about life. We enjoy road trips and love all types of animals. Kida, our year old Blue Nose Pitbull is usually the first one you'll meet. She'll race to your car eager to meet her new friend. Whisper is our youngest . She is our just now 1 year old Pit bull. She is Kida's shadow and best buddy. Rogan the pitbull is our newest addition. He is still learning the ropes and was raised in a shelter so he is still learning his manners. You can be sure you will feel loved by these 3. As sweet and snuggly as they are, they are also our protection here on the land. So feel safe in knowing you have loving guardians watching over you. Please let us know if you are uncomfortable with dogs or if your dog would rather have their privacy and we will keep ours close to us.
