Come stay in our farm house. We only share the front door, meaning you will have total privacy in your guest room. Beautiful bike rides can be made in surrounding natural reserves, bird lovers will be thrilled. Botshol and the Vinkeveense plassen are only a bike ride away. Lots of parking space here. In your room you will have fiber optic internet connection, you will find a small fridge, a coffee maker, a milk frother, a water boiler and free coffee and tea. We don't serve breakfast, sorry!

The space
The studio is small but cozy with a nice large bathroom. Please note, there is no kitchen or other means to warm up food. The entrance is to your right straight after you've entered the front door of my house, which means you don't have to walk through the main house. To give you even more privacy I will use the back door as much as possible during your stay. On the other hand, if you need help, I'm only a knock on the door away :-)
Please also note that public transport is not very good in my region. The nearest bus stop is 25 minutes walking from here.

Guest access
The backside of the garden is communal property. So feel free to use it, to walk around, play or lay in the grass, enjoy the sunset, but please know that this also means that me, the neighbour or other guests can be there as well.

The garden that specifically belongs to our neighbour is the part under the hay shed and the garden on the right side of his house (when you are facing the back door under the hay shed).

During your stay
I'll be happy to help whenever you need me to. I'm living in the same house, so I'm only a knock on the door away. Don't worry, you'll have total privacy inside your guest room.

Other things to note
You will find our house at the end of a dirt road. Please be mindful of our neighbors and don't drive faster than 10 km per hour on this road. And, very important, bring the travel directions, you will not find it without them.

If your GPS system is Tomtom, there is no problem, it works fine. But if you're relying on Google Maps, you better type in Poeldijk 4. Once you've arrived there you keep the mailboxes on your right hand side and follow the dirt track all the way to the end. You'll see the house on number 6 first, keep on going until you can't go any further and you realize you're on our parking lot, (# 8).

With Google Maps, you won't find us.
 With the GPS system of TomTom, Wayze or iPhone Maps you will get there just fine.

If you still want to use Google Maps, enter number 4 (instead of 8).
Once there, take the dirt path along the mailboxes in the bend and then continue until you really can't go any further and you realize that you are in our parking lot.
So still past the cottage you see on the right (no. 6).

Welcome to our home. This farm was built in the beginning of the last century. 118 years later, two friends decided to buy this lovely place and split it into two homes. We started reconstructing the farm house in 2018, with the use of sustainable and ecological products. A studio in the front house is what this listing is about. You will find our farm house at the end of a dirt road.
