We offer spacious yurts in the grounds of the Cadbury family's former Manor holiday home. The grounds are shared with Alpacas, which interact with and take for walks (walk incl. for min 3 nights stay) You are surrounded by countryside and each pitch has as own private area that you can enjoy. What's more, we are easy to get to of the M5 (two turns) and are situated in the centre of the Midlands best attractions.

The space
Our alpaca Muffin takes a bit of time to build up confidence and likes to hide away sometimes. So we have called our middle pitch after Muffin, as it’s hidden away amongst some trees, and if you want to turn the privacy button on you can! The pitch has its own bit of grass out the front on a shallow slope which is all yours, there is plenty of cover from the surrounding tree’s should you want to get out of the sun and the yurt has a nice view over farmers fields to the rear which captures most of the light from the setting sun.

There is also a pathway that links you to a small forest hideaway (this is shared with all on-site, but this yurt has the best access to it!). There is also good access to the local footpath system, one of which leads up to Wasley Hill. You can join us to take the Alpaca’s up the hill if you like!!

We have a bbq available or the pitch and there is outside cooking space with a gas camping pot hidden among the trees, so you can make food rain or shine.

Other things to note
UPDATE: During September weekdays our alpacas are going to the school for educational purposes as they are part of the charity. So unfortunately there will be no alpacas at our site during this period.

*The minimum 3 nights booking price includes trekking with alpacas. The alpaca walk lasts about 1 hour.

*Trekking is also available on a shorter stay by an additional cost

*Due to the COVID-19 restriction, we run a ‘bring your own bedding set and towels’ policy in order to minimize the risk from coronavirus. Thank you for understanding.

*Our Yurt has a small bbq, however, we do not provide coal. There are wood pieces for your use for free, but please bring the coal if you feel you will need it.

The Manor house has an exciting history. Originally being one of the Cadbury families summer home. Then, during World War II, The Salvation Army was allowed to create a refugee for children. From that point on the house has always had a social purpose. Nowadays is run by the Green House Project.

The GreenHouse at Barnes Close will give people from the local area, who haven’t had the opportunity to learn new skills such as leadership and community regeneration so they can take them back to their communities and help them prosper.

Glamping with us will help support this project and also help maintain a Barnes Close manor house. So with staying with us you get a nice relaxing escape in the Worcestershire countryside, whilst also knowing that you are helping us build a more resilient community.
