We stayed at Chadi's place for a week and it was a really great place to stay. Close to public transportation and a lot of great bars, restaurants and a few grocery stores. Down town is within walking distance not recommended as the walk takes you through some pretty dodgy neighbourhoods. The apartment has everything you need for some basic home cooking. Chadi was friendly, quick to reply and with very easy instructions making check-in easy. I would recommend Chadi's place to everyone!

This was our first time for me and my friends traveling to California and staying at Chadi's place made it even better. The area is in a good location and Chadi was always quick in responding to all my questions. You should definitely give Chadi's place a chance of you're staying in San Francisco!

We had a very nice stay in Chadi's apartment. We really liked the area where it is located : lively, full of little restaurants (we recommend the Spice Jar in particular) and the place really was as advertised. Chadi was very quick to respond to our queries. Just like the other commentators though, I have to agree : the neighbours upstairs can be a bit noisy. Overall we had a good experience.

The Pros: Chadi's is a cute little lived-in place that feels just like home. It's a little on the older side, but that's San Fran for you. You can expect it to be filled with everything that you would need as if you actually lived there (e.g., toilet paper, q-tips, condiments, coffee and tea, food, entertainment systems, streaming services, hair dryer, first-aid, etc.). I loved that he had all these options for video and music streaming, or just plug your laptop into the TV and do whatever you want. If you don't want to go digital, jam out on the nice guitars that are at the place (I don't play but they were pretty to look at). The neighborhood cats come by if you want to say hi. The place is smaller than what it looks like in the pictures, but pretty much all pictures on AirBnB are like that. The location was great! Mission district is lively and full of amazing restaurants, graffiti art, markets, etc. If you like clean and froufrou places, this neighborhood is not for you. It has culture, passion, and personality that comes with a city like San Fran. It's a great neighborhood to walk around; expect to hear blasting music, see amazing artwork, eat great food from those hole-in-the-wall looking places, and have fun. Buses are just a block or two away, and Chadi has info for cars and parking if you decide to drive (we didn't). I loved it! The cons: There were a couple of reviews that said the noise was present but a "non-issue". Well guess what? It's a definite issue. The neighbors are extremely noisy. Expect to hear tons of stomping, arguing, yelling, doors slamming, etc. They were also working on some DIY projects or something because they were hammering away and possibly sanding things on their deck. This place is good if you're pretty much gone from 6:30am to 10pm every day because it's noisy every, single, day (weekends too). Another note about the neighbors: they watch you. I had a message sent to me from Chadi stating that the neighbors saw me leave the gate "wide" open. I was taking a call outside (didn't get good reception inside) and therefore decided not to lock the 3 doors/4 locks (all different keys) that it takes to get inside because I was just right outside. Well, guess they noticed it was not locked during my call. It made me feel extremely uncomfortable being there because I felt like I was being watched. Wifi is slow. Don't expect to be able to stream anything unless you hotspot yourself. Overall: Great neighborhood, and the actual place itself is good. The neighbors definitely ruined it for me though, and I wouldn't stay here again unless they weren't there. If you just need a place to sleep and a fun neighborhood to be in, it's perfect.

Response from Chadi:
As much as I admire Rosemary for her extensive review, the negative parts may be a little too much exemplified. Not exactly sure what she means by "older side"; the place was built in 1972 with an updated kitchen and bathroom. My neighbors who are the nicest couple in the neighborhood also deal with a mentally challenged son that inhibits them from not making noise and/or being protective over unlocked doors. Future sound proofing remedies are in the process though. Also, the house amenities along with the competitive price compared to a hotel is pretty on point. I never have problems with the wifi and or streaming when im there too. As extensive as rosemary was, she forgot to mention the cute backyard and hot tub. Good luck trying to find anything like that in the city! Like I said before if you cant handle a little upstairs noise than this place isn't for you. You may want to try your luck somewhere else where they have higher prices, thinner walls and or bus depots in front of your window.

Outgoing, sensible and communicative. I enjoy the outdoors, traveling, music, catching up with friends. I'm also an AIRBNB host who respects and understands the intricacies of what is expected when you offer your place up.
