The Seahorse, Great Yarmouth, is a family-friendly, licensed Guest House. Built in 1890, this Grade II listed building is set on one of Yarmouth's most beautiful, tree-lined avenues just 325 metres from the Seafront and close to all major attractions.
We have a range of single, twin, double and family rooms, all of which are ensuite. With 5 large family rooms, the Seahorse is more than capable of handling group-bookings, whilst still offering you the personal service of a family-run GuestHouse

The space
This is a quirky loft conversion, comprising 2 rooms separated by a small flight of stairs. Downstairs is a children's bedroom with Bunk beds with WC and hand basin next door ( but within the unit). Upstairs opens out into a large bedroom housing a king-sized bed, with ample space for an extra children's bed and/or cot. Alternatively, mum & dad might just like their own space whilst on holiday. En-suite upstairs is the bathroom, comprising a bath and hand basin.
Previous guests have nicknamed this the "Marmite room" - you'll either love it or hate it!! But it is certainly unique.
Point to Note: As a loft conversion this room is at the top of a 3-storey building & there are some areas with restricted head-room. There are also 35 stairs to the room.
Additional cot available for baby/infant.

During your stay
We're the Greys and the Seahorse Guest House is both our home and our business. The seeds were sown for this family adventure at the beginning of 2011 when we started to welcome paying guests into our home in Surrey. It was great fun working together as a team and we really enjoyed taking care of our guests, who very kindly gave some fabulous feedback on our hospitality.

Buying a 14 bedroomed guest house was a big decision but a hugely exciting one. Having travelled extensively in the UK - both as a family and for work - we know exactly what's important to us when staying away from home but everyone is different and so we want to deliver the type of stay that each of our guests is looking for - whatever that might be. We are both executive and family friendly.

We pride ourselves on our home cooked breakfasts and also offer an evening meal option - so no need to venture out at the end of the day. We aim for a relaxed and homely atmosphere but pride ourselves on the quality of our service and our food!
