We have a small private cottage on our property that is quiet, secluded, and off the beaten path, yet convenient to Rockland, Rockport, and Camden. It is rustic with basically two rooms and a camp feel, but it has all the comforts of home with indoor plumbing, electricity, heat, hot water, functioning kitchen, deck, WIFI, and outdoor charcoal grill. It's a great escape from news, noise and stress as you star gaze from the deck and wake to the sounds of loons on the lake.

The space
Due to the size and layout of the cottage, it is best suited to singles, a couple, or a couple with a child. Beach towels and beach chairs included, charcoal grill, AC window unit, and hammock, too.

Where you’ll be

Rockport, Maine, United States

Bring your paddleboards, kayaks, canoes, or boats for pleasure or fishing! Chickawaukie Pond is in our front yard. While there is no water access from our property, the public beach and boat launch is a short drive away on the other side of the lake. Also a short drive is the grocery store (4 mins.), a vibrant downtown Rockland (5 mins) with art museums and restaurants, walking the mile-long breakwater to the lighthouse (6 mins), and hiking, ocean and lake beaches, and shopping in Camden (11 mins).
