Bannister Getaway is perfect for a romantic getaway with its wonderful north-facing ocean views towards Green Island & Manyana.

It’s relaxing, peaceful & quiet, & you can walk everywhere!

Enjoy a 5-10 minute stroll down a beautiful bush track to Narrawallee Beach or walk up to Mollymook’s excellent surf beach.

It's 5-10 minutes’ walk to Rick Stein’s famous Bannisters By the Sea restaurant/pool bar; Mollymook shopping centre; Bannisters Pavilion restaurant/rooftop bar & Gwylo Restaurant.

The space
The studio has recently been painted and refurbished, and is very large, bright and tastefully decorated with a king-size bed.

There is a fully-equipped kitchen with Nespresso coffee pod machine, microwave, oven, sandwich toaster, full-sized fridge with icemaker and filtered cold water dispenser.

You can also enjoy a new 65-inch smart TV, and for your music there is a UE boom speaker you can blue-tooth to your phone.

The studio has a very large luxurious bathroom with a shower and big bath.

You enter the bathroom through a walk-in robe with plenty of hanging and storage space, full-length mirror (behind the door), hair dryer, iron and an ironing board.
There is a night light at the back of the room to guide you to the bathroom.

There is plenty of parking in the street (Bannister Head Road) in front of the studio.

There is security lighting that lights up as you approach the front of house/garage.

Entry to the studio is through a private ground floor garden entrance, where you will find a key box, which allows for a contact-free checkin.

You have your own private front garden and access to a shared back garden with a Bali hut and your own BBQ.

There is a shower and also a hose to wash your feet located on the side of the studio.

There is a clothes line that runs along the side of the studio. If you need to do some washing, ask the hosts, as there is a washing machine available for use by guests.

Unfortunately, the studio is not suitable for children (including toddlers) and pets.

A combination security safe is provided.

Where you’ll be

Mollymook Beach, New South Wales, Australia

The studio is situated on a quiet street with plenty of parking. It is the perfect location for walking everywhere - close to beaches, restaurants, and the Mollymook shopping centre.

Keep an eye out for whales and their calves taking shelter in the Narrawallee Bay and pods of dolphins!

It is a 10-minute drive to the historic and charming village of Milton with a plethora of eateries and shops. It also has an excellent IGA /bottle shop, and great butchery called Ted’s.

There are lots of places for coffee - one of our favourites for a great coffee and cake is Brown Sugar cafe. Nearby ‘Spaces’ is inspiring for homewares.

For a special dinner - Milton’s ‘Small Town’ restaurant in the middle of town is wonderful - and has been awarded a chef’s hat by the Good Food Guide on numerous occasions.

There are a couple of great bars in Milton in Croobyer Road - ‘The Alter Bar’ at the Church and then a bit further down ‘’Harvest Bar (check for live music).

A wonderful (unique) place for breakfast and lunch in Milton is Milkhaus (an old dairy). It is very popular - so it is a good idea to book.

It’s a 10-minute drive to beautiful Cupitt's Winery where you can enjoy a spectacular view, beautiful wines, delicious cheeses, meals, coffee, and craft beers.

Nearby in Narrawallee inlet you can stand-up paddle board or kayak.

The area has many beautiful walks and one of our our favourites is a walk up nearby Pigeon House Mountain. It is a mighty landmark in the region and the views from the top are spectacular.

The region is perfect for push bikes with numerous trails and destinations to explore and hills to test you out!

There are two excellent golf courses - one very challenging 18 hole course - Hilltop, and Mollymook beachside 9 hole course, where you can enjoy a drink afterwards at the Mollymook Golf Club with its spectacular view.

Ulladulla's (meaning safe harbour) scenic harbour is a 10-minute drive away. It has numerous cafes with great coffee including Native (with its harbour view), Treehouse Cafe and Kraft at the top of the hill. Restaurants include the wonderful Japanese Restaurant ‘Tanoshi’ and ‘The Ruse’ wine bar (with its harbour views), Carlos restaurant, Tony’s pizza shop, and fish and chips from Tigers & the excellent small fish shop on the harbour called At Sea). Plus don’t miss Hayden’s fabulous pie shop!

Ulladulla has an Aldi, Cole’s & Woolworths.

Five minutes’ drive south of Ulladulla is Burrill Lake with its wonderful fish and chips and fresh fish shop. Next door to the fish ship is Lagom Bakery with its delicious bread/pastries and coffee.

If you are heading back to Sydney, Berry just north of Nowra, is a great place for lunch and shopping! We highly recommend The Garden Berry in the main street and Haven & Space’s two shops for home wares.

Please note that in the Milton /Mollymook / Ulladulla region takeaway meals (ie fish and chips) close very early and last orders close even earlier!!

NEARBY
Mollymook shopping centre -
The Mollymook shopping centre is a 5 to 10 minute walk down Jones Street. The centre has an IGA supermarket (open 8am - 6pm daily), delicatessen, Mollymook Fine Wines and Ales, chemist/newsagent, Grey Dolphins takeaway, bakery, and Mint Pizza shop. Bannisters Pavilion restaurant & rooftop bar is excellent and you also have the wonderful new Gwylo Restaurant run by the very talented Matt Upson.

You can get an excellent coffee in the morning from the coffee cart at the entrance to Bannisters Pavilion.

It is a lovely walk (about 30-40 minutes) from here along the front beach at Mollymook to the golf club for a drink (and dinner) - where you can enjoy the club’s spectacular views of the beach. Be aware of the dress code for shoes.
