An abundance of things to do!!

Hiking: Daniel Boone National Forrest, Big South Fork Nat’l River & Recreation Area, Obed Wild & Scenic River Nat’l Park, Frozen Head State Park

fishing & hunting: many local streams & ponds, Big South Fork Nat’l River & Rec Area, Norris Lake, Cumberland Lake ** for hunting & fishing license info go to the_____ website**

Tail of the Dragon: one of Discovery’s top 10 motorcycle rides in America. 318 curves in 11 miles as you twist and turn in Tennessee and North Carolina. The best time to ride the Tail is April through October. Unobstructed mountain views from multiple turnouts reward riders. The section from Cherokee to Asheville is on some of the highest ridge tops of some of the tallest mountains in the east and goes through 11 tunnels. We are located on a scenic highway that will lead you directly to the Tail.

antiquing: Clinton, TN is a must! Also Rugby, Jamestown and many, many more quaint shops along the way.

Boating: Norris lake offers over 800 miles of shoreline, breath taking views and lots dockside entertainment. Lake Cumberland has been the site of several of Kentucky’s record fish. Cumberland is over 100 miles long and offers beautiful cliffs and a waterfall that empties into the lake.

waterfalls & river spots: If you’re on an ATV there is 6 waterfalls and 5 river/beach spots within a 30 minute ride from cabin (not including Windrock or Ride Royal Blue). By vehicle also enjoy the multiple waterfalls within the many National & State Parks nearby. If you have the chance try to see the Moonbow at Cumberland Falls, one of only three place in the United States where this beautiful phenomenon can be seen.

KY & TN distillery tours: go to the KY distillery tour website for additional information on the state tour. In TN we are a day trip to Jack Daniel’s and Ole Smoky Distilleries.

Kentucky Splash Waterpark is an hour away and Big South Fork Scenic Railway is on the way there for a great day trip. Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge offer endless family entertainment for a great day together and only a 2 hour drive away. Enjoy the rides and shows at Dollywood and don’t miss the best views in the Smokies at the Gatlinburg Skylift Park. Feel like taking the kids for a long day trip to Music City? We bought our first Polaris RZR in 2014 and made our first riding trip to Brimstone in Huntsville, TN that same year. On that first trip we got lost and ended up on Ridge Road. It was love at first sight. In 2018 for our 25th anniversary we bought property on that same road. Our cabin construction was completed in 2019. Our dream come true. As hosts we hope you fall in love with the area just like we did.
