Dunganachy is a one bedroom traditional stone built croft house which is our family holiday home. The cottage is the perfect base for exploring the Outer Hebrides, the Isle of Benbecula is situated directly between North and South Uist, just 11 miles from Lochmaddy North Uist Ferry Port. We are just five minutes drive from Benbecula Airport.
The cottage sits infront of the Loch and next to Charlie's Bistro, where you can enjoy fine food and wine with the freshest local products and ingredients.

The Isle of Benbecula offers many stunning beaches with the beautiful Airport beach just a 20 minute walk away from the Cottage and the stunning Cula Bay a 5 minute drive away. White Sandy beaches next to the changing colours of the Atlantic Ocean.

Dunganachy is just a short drive from the islands of South Uist, Eriskay and the ferry port to Barra. Spot St Kilda and the Monarch Isles and book boat trips with Uist Sea Tours.

Balivanich is surrounded by a multitude fishing lochs. Ancient Ruins at Nunton and North Uist also offers its own Distillery producing the wonderful Downpour Gin.

Climb Rueval Hill on the East Side of the island for views that stretch for miles over land and sea and also offer a glimpse of this island’s historic past or tour the ruins Borve Castle on the island’s West Side and stand on the same spot that sheltered the chiefs of the Clanranald for centuries.
