Nestling between the rolling Mendip Hills and the Somerset Levels, the Orangery at Orchard House is perfectly located in the peaceful idyll of rural Somerset, yet conveniently close to the cultural delights of Wells, Bruton, Glastonbury, Castle Cary and Frome.
Surrounded by fields full of wild flowers, birds and deer, the Orangery is a secluded sanctuary in which to relax, unwind and refresh both body and soul.

The space
The Orangery has been designed as an oasis of peace away from the mad busyness of modern life. Filled with light and air, we want our guests to experience the serenity of their surroundings.
Inside, underfloor heating is supplemented by a cosy woodburning stove for cooler nights and a state of the art TV for cosy evenings.
Outside, a sunlit Mediterranean courtyard with olive and lavender affords a delightful place to sit with a coffee and a good book, or relax with a glass of wine, to recalibrate, listen to birdsong and just 'be'.

Guest access
The entire Orangery is exclusively for our guests to enjoy

Other things to note
If desired, we are happy to provide the makings of breakfast (Continental or Full English), to save the necessity of guests having to transport chilled provisions in a hot car. Items would be charged at cost, with receipts provided.

For those guests staying for a longer period of time, we are happy to offer laundry services (washing and ironing) for a small additional cost.
