We are situated 15 minutes north of Keene, NH, and two minute drive to Nelson village. Many who visit here decide to climb Mt. Monadnock or to hike the Monadnock Sunnapee trail. A short 5 minute drive takes you to Harrisville country store , a little further to Peterborough, you will find Harlow's, both serve home cooked, delicious food. Keene coop is a hub for quality groceries and Brattleboro has its own organic and ethnic restaurants too.

I am a teacher, semi retired. I grew up in NH and after many years of work, travel, and adventure, I have returned home. I am grateful for the woods, the trees, hills and meadows of NH. The natural beauty here is soothing for the soul. I welcome people from around the world, of different background to come stay here and enjoy this beautiful country. I can help you find great places for an outing whether it is to hike, swim, go boating, or in the winter to go sliding, skiing and skating. I enjoy dancing and music, writing, and people. When I am not teaching I travel and visit family. I look forward to welcoming you at Loon Call Inn, where you can hear to loons from your bedroom window.

During your stay
I live next door in the main house, a short walk from the cabin. I will help you get situated and be available to assist you should you need it, but otherwise you will be on your own. I take covid19 seriously and take all precautions to mitigate the spread of it. You may see an occasional forest friend, raccoons, porcupine or mice. They like it here too.
