Why vacation among the crowd when you can have your own private campground? House Mountain Camp is complete with fully functional cabin, bath house, Pic-Nic pavilion, large fire-pit and 32 acres of private hiking. Plenty of room for tent camping for larger groups. Adjacent to House Mountain state park. All modern amenities: City water, Wi-Fi/Internet. TVs (2), Air conditioning. Volleyball court and horseshoe pit. Centrally located to many vacation destinations such as Dollywood, Oak Ridge etc.

The space
House Mountain Camp was designed to look as if it came from a time when Grandpa an Grandma lived. All utilities are hidden underground. The bath house looks like the outhouse Grandma used but when you go inside, you find a modern bathroom, fully equipped. The same goes with the cabin, rustic looking on the outside but super high-tech on the inside. Control devices and lights simply speaking. There are 2 TVs. One in the living room and another in the bedroom. The TV has hundreds of movies and live TV channels.
A computer is available to use as a "guest" login and of course, the wi-fi is provided for your personal devices. If sitting around a campfire sounds more to your taste, we have you covered. Free firewood, and chairs and the beautiful view of the night sky is included at no charge!

Guest access
House Mountain Camp was designed to enjoy nature. The cabin area is great but that's just the beginning. We have miles of hiking trails you can enjoy. Many creatures call House Mountain Camp home. We even have a white deer (actually piebald) that was born and lives here. When you get up early in the morning and peek out the front door, no telling what you might see. If you like nature, you will love House Mountain Camp!

Other things to note
Open for reservations April 15th through December 14th. Closed for winter season.
We provided coffee, fresh fruit, and pastries for a light breakfast. Safety equipment includes a smoke alarm, carbon monoxide detector and a fire extinguisher. Cleaning supplies are also provided.
