Welcome to the Old Cottage Hostel!

Today, this space serves as your perfect staycation accommodation with close access to the Wild Cove trail, a great spot for whale sightings! Originally, this building was built by the community and served as a cottage hospital from 1939-2001. This part of the building was added in the late 1960’s to accommodate the growing number of maternity cases; the lower level hostel rooms were the doctors’ offices and outpatient area.

The space
The Lower Level is a self-contained unit with one room with a queen bed, and two rooms with single beds. There is one bathroom with a shower; a bright, spacious kitchen; as well as a sitting room / common area with a door opening out onto the cottage hospital grounds and picnic area. There is also free wifi and a private entrance to the hostel.
