Welcome to the ultimate glamping experience! A private nature infused getaway that adds an extra flare to camping.

The Elm 8 Cabin is a hidden gem in the Haliburton Highlands. This unique space will give you the opportunity to pursue your favourite outdoor activities during the day, and return to a cozy bed in the evening.

This space is set up for folks who have camping experience and are comfortable with being outdoors.

The space
Elm 8 Cabin is a unique space to immerse yourself into nature. It's the perfect base camp for exploring the Haliburton Highlands and all of it's offerings, or relaxing onsite.

The Cabin sits inside the forest, complete with it's own fire-pit area, outhouse and outdoor dining area. The Cabin itself features a lounge area, kitchenette and dining space - as well as a double bed up in the loft, with a great view of the trees. The kitchenette is equipped with a double burner, pots, pans, cutlery, plates, bowls, glassware, etc.

Your stay at Elm 8 Cabin includes:

-two pairs of adult size snowshoes, in the winter months

Elm 8 has electricity and a space heater for the cooler nights. We are open all year round. Weather is unpredictable so we suggest checking out the forecast before your stay and coming prepared for all weather to make your stay more comfortable.

Elm 8 is located in Gooderham, ON - roughly 2 1/2 hours north of Toronto. The small town of Gooderham features an LCBO, grocery/convenience store, and gas station.

Other things to note
Cabin is equipped with hydro and an electric heater.

There is no running water, however drinking water is provided.

In the spring season (roughly mid-May to July), mosquitos and black flies will be out. We suggest bringing a bug jacket and bug spray to better enjoy the outdoors.
