The Wee Barn was the perfect venue for a solitary retreat. Paul and Heather have a beautiful farm and are generous and welcoming. The basket with eggs, cream and other goodies was a lovely touch, as was the advice on local hikes and sites. What a treasured find this site was as a place that allows the soul to rest and unwind.

Beautiful barn in a sunny valley. Great pizza evening up at the main barn. Get the seaplane to Maple Bay if you can!

The Wee Barn is just gorgeous! Thank you for the welcome hamper which was much appreciated! Such a comfy bed, the shower is awesome and great little kitchenette which had everything we needed. The Farm is stunning and so peaceful, and we loved our 3 nights here. Highlights were watching a family of deer out the window at dusk, the pigs and piglets and dinner at The Shipyard. Thanks all!

A beautiful setting - peaceful and serene. Morning mist and starry nights. Perfect viewing for the lunar eclipse. The gypsy wagon was great to pick up Berkshire pork chops and a Highland cow flank steak to cook on the grill at the little cabin. Fresh eggs for breakfast. And the honey was tremendous. We especially enjoyed talking with Adam who works on the farm. Very refreshing to meet people who love what they are doing - their labor of love. Thank you Paul for sharing your honey. The owners were busy with their last pizza night so only briefly met them and did not meet Claire who coordinates the cabin for them. We did get to enjoy a yummy pizza cooked in their outside pizza oven, overlooking their beautiful farm. Peaceful and quiet, listening to various birds, including owls and ravens. Easy access as well to so much else that was going on in the Cowichan Valley during our stay.

Absolute heaven on earth! My husband and I came up from San Francisco for a little peace and quiet and I can't image a more perfect place. The cabin and surroundings are gorgeous. If you're needing a little escape, I can't recommend this magical place enough.
