The space

Great location right near the beach road, close to supermarkets.
The bikes are a huge bonus and you can easily ride the bikes in Tulum, it's a very bike friendly town.
The beach is about 20 minutes away on a bike but the road has a separate bike lane and it's an easy and enjoyable ride.

emmanuel is simply put, excellent! he meets you upon arrival, gives you all the info you need, has many connections in the area for tours and activities, and always responds quickly should there be an issue. The place is basic but you get everything you need. The price is unbeatable when you know you are getting a top service from him, free bikes, and an invite for free salsa lessons on the beach every sunday. Best of all, Emmanuel is the salsa teacher and boy can this man move his hips and dance!!! thank you again emmanuel! 2nd year with you and we loved it :)

Lovely house in a very quiet neighbourhood. A gem of a place, and a very helpful owner. Thank you Emmanuel for the great time at Casa Azul!

Another great trip to Tulum. No tv but we survived without it. Nice house and good responses from Emmanuel.

My girlfriend and I stayed a week from the end of October to the beginning of November. Emmanuel welcomed us warmly and he was very good at explaining tours, giving us info etc... although, toward the last two days of our stay we had an issue with the gas and upon asking him, we never got a reply back. The house is nice, big, full of amenities but...warm. The bedroom has AC but the living room /kitchen only has vent (which doesn't work properly) and this is not enough to enjoy the place. Lastly, in the living room and the bedroom we found a couple of huge dead coackroaches; the floors didn't seem like someone swept them. The wifi on the other hand was working perfeclty, never had an issue ! To summarize, the place is nice and has a lot of potential but it definitely needs a bit more of attention. The place being too warm was a big let down for us.

Perfect casa in a quiet corner of Tulum Town. Close to many restaurants, shopping, bars, etc and also near the beach road. I loved my stay at Casa Azul.

The Casa Azul is a nice little bungalow in a Mexican neighbourhood. It is well equipped and the bedroom has air condition, which is absolutely necessary to be able to sleep! The bikes are great to get around Tulum, the ruins and some cenotes close to the town. However, they are unfortunately not in best shape. Emmanuel was very friendly and helped us out with useful information at any time. Can recommend this place for a short stay in town!

We chose this house because it is close to ADO bus, free bike and private facility. The address was wrong, it takes 20mins from the ado bus, but the map in airbnb said around 10mins. Free bike is free, right, but very pld with no brakes. And the house is private but the garden and the front door are shared. There is no curtain on the wall of kitchen, we had to see some people crossing my house. I felt really un-private. And the host was too busy, he didn't answer our questions. The first day, we found there is a problem with the refrigerator, under one, we sent a message. But he didn't answer yet. The kitchen tools are plenty so it was good. Only A.C in the room was very weak, even in the room, it was hot.

Hi there! I'm from Mexico City and I think It´s a great great city but I moved here in Tulum since around 2003 once I Saw this beautiful place so quiet, lovely, natural I told my self this is where I want to enjoy life this is what I need far away from the crowds TULUM IS UNIQUE with the time I've been here I think I Know pretty well the area so anything you need any activity any place any tour (most part of them you can do it by your self or if you wish we can arrangement) whatever I'll be glad to help I love dancing salsa, bachata, cumbia, chachacha any latin rhythm so if you like dancing too we can enjoy LA FIESTA together and sorry for my English I'm still working on that
See you soon
