The space
This apartment is located on the ground floor of our home, within walking distance to downtown Franklin. The space is accessed by a completely separate entrance, providing the utmost privacy. The in-town location provides wifi, often not available in more rural areas around Franklin. We have young children so there is no guarantee that you won't hear fun and laughter during the day. However, it is guaranteed that your privacy will be respected and that our children go to bed at a reasonable hour. The main living space includes the living/dining and kitchen area. The kitchen is stocked, and if there is anything you need, we will try to accommodate.

The bedroom has a queen-size memory foam bed situated in a quiet little reading nook. There is also a wardrobe for the storage of clothes.

The living room has a very comfortable sofa. It does not pull out to a bed, however, it is long enough for 1 average sized adult to sleep.

The private bathroom offers a bathtub and/or shower.

We have a 32' Smart TV to stream all your favorite shows. We encourage guests to log in to their own streaming services.
We do not have cable TV service.

A private washing machine and dryer are available in the basement adjoining the suite.

There is a covered and an open outdoor area for our guests to utilize. Guests have access to the patio, which includes a fire pit. Please provide your own firewood.

Sorry for any inconvenience, but smoking is not allowed on the premises.

Guest access
Enjoy the entire private space as well as access to a private washer/dryer. Feel free to have your coffee or wine or an evening fire on the back patio.

Other things to note
Message to AT thru-hikers:

Located on mile marker 110 of the Appalachian Trail, Franklin is a very hiker friendly community and a perfect resupply location. Franklin is the best of both by providing a great stopping off point without being overcrowded like some of the more touristy points. Franklin has multiple shuttles available, both public and private, to get from the trail to town, and Hillcrest Hideaway is within walking distance.

Outdoor 76 downtown is stocked with all the gear you may need and Walmart and Ingles grocery are close by. Refresh in a hot shower/bath, utilize the washer/dryer, hang gear out to dry, and recharge before hitting the trail again.
