Campsites on the 260 acre farm in beautiful treed areas named after the wildlife in the area. Some sites are only reachable by 2wd cars in the rainy season when the sandy roads are firm. Honey eater is in the bush (as are a whole lot of others)
IF YOU HAVE AWD or 4WD AND ARE SEMI SELF CONTAINED (new flush toilet walking distance) book up to 50 p in caravans, tents or campers. Drinking water nearby.
Good level access for caravans. Road sandy at places especially in summer.

The space
Lovely, level bush spot amongst trees. PRIVATE no camper next to you. YOUR OWN FIRE PIT for camp fires when allowed in season and drinking water taps and toilet within walking distance. Flowers and flowering shrubs everywhere in season. Lots of bird life and wild life.
At this site we regularly see and hear two pairs of red chested robins, honey eaters, fantails and many of the larger species drawn by the eary flowering Manna gums that starts flowering around the first week in May.

Location

Yathroo, Western Australia, Australia

Every site has at least the following available:
Fire pit and large tree stumps to sit on. 2wd sites have fire shovels, a fire drum, fire grid, toilets and water nearby. Bush sites now have access to a new flush toilet in the nearby area subject to a strict 'clean and disinfect the toilet' policy.
Fire wood in bags or crates are available on farm for $10 per crate or bag or large log. Gathering wood or rocks is strictly forbidden and regarded as stealing. We also remove no wood, rocks or fallen trees from certain bush areas to try keep it 100% natural.
You please need to take back all that you bring including rubbish and leave the bin empty and the site clean.
Be sure to bring some cash for on-farm supplies like fire wood, table grapes, olives, lemons or honey in season and for first aid needs or toilet paper. Pets under control and generators allowed.
Remember to do a check list of your needs to be self sufficient. If you do forget or miss something the nearby town of Moora is only a 20 minute drive away and has 2 supermarkets and most normal shops.
There is a first aid kit in the farm house as well as a small one in the guest house.
Here follows a help list of items often overlooked by campers and convenient to have to make your time more enjoyable:
matches fire lighters torch spices salt pepper milk bbq tools, a large and a small tarps, camp chairs camp table black bin bags buckets for water, basin for dishes toilet paper, warm clothes, warm sleeping gear (nights can be cold), camp light, beanie, carpet or mat to wipe feet, insect repellent, binoculars, camera
Only Telstra phones work in this area as in most of the country areas
We hope all this will help a bit to make your stay even better
