This lovely 1930’s cottage has recently been renovated. Still has the charm of the old days, but is freshly painted inside and out. Great view of Netarts Bay, comfy queen bed, and modern kitchenette. You’re just a short walk down the stairs to the bay, or you can relax in the beach chairs out front. Guests love the cottage feel and watching the pelicans and herons or catching a beautiful sunset. The Edgewater Cottage #6 is part of the original 11 cottages along Netarts Bay.

The space
Located on a quiet dead-end street right on Netarts Bay. Kitchen includes small stove, mini fridge and microwave. Stocked with dishes, cooking utensils, salt, pepper and olive oil. Gate-leg table folds out for eating, playing games or doing a puzzle. Extra blankets to curl up on the sofa with a good book. Convenient desk for work. Perfect spot for a couple's getaway, a solo retreat, or stay with a friend.

I'm originally from Nebraska but Oceanside has been my home for most of my adult life. I've always been passionate about working with kids. I recently retired from being a principal at a small elementary school. My son and daughter are grown but live close by. I like to read, work in my garden, dance and camp. I enjoy traveling and look forward to exploring Europe after I retire. I'm always up for trying a new restaurant and a good bottle of wine.
