The Vintage Suite Principal is located on the main floor (2nd) of a new reformed building with lift. The apartment comes with a fully equipped kitchen, main bedroom and the possibility of a 2nd bedroom splitting the living room with a sliding door.
The apartment is located in a trendy area close to the Rambla of Poblenou, the Marina and the Historic district of Born.

The Vintage Suite Principal is located on the main floor (2nd) of the building and comes with a private balcony. It has been totally reformed on summer 2014 maintaining some of the original bricks wall and typical catalan ceiling. The apartment has been furnished with lovely vintage design and with all the latest technologies (Wifi, AiCO, TV Sat, Security Access Control)

IMPORTANT NOTES:
- CHECK-IN has to be finalized 48 hours before arrival, in case of late arrival the extra charge should be paid through AirBnB.

- CHECK-IN extra charges:
- Check-in from 15:00 to 21:00 is included.
- Check-in from 21:00 to 23:00: 30 euros
- Check-in from 23:00 to 00:30: 50 euros
- Check-in from 00:30 ONLY UPON REQUEST.
- Early IN and Late Check-out is possible ONLY UPON REQUEST, extra charge: 30 euros (if property available).
Max. Late Check-out (if available) is 12:00.

1.It is strictly forbidden to host a larger number of persons than the number agreed during travel planning. In case of additional guests, please inform the reservation office immediately.
2.Smoking in the property is not allowed. If you smoke we will take your security deposit.
3.It is strictly forbidden to hang clothing from the balconies.
4.Noise must be kept to a minimum level after 9.00 PM, and parties are strictly forbidden in the apartment and in any common area such as the terrace.
5.The person signing the lease contract will be responsible for the appropriate behavior of anyone staying with them. Should this person or the persons staying with them not behave responsibly and appropriately, they will be asked to leave immediately the apartment with no means of reimbursement. Should the occupants fail to comply with the obligations mentioned above, I could, at my own discretion, ask the client to abandon the apartment, without the client being entitled to any compensation.
6.The use of sound system in the common areas such as the stairs and terrace is not allowed.
7.Use of Internet for illegal activities is not allowed.
8.Dog or animals are not allowed in the apartment and in the common areas.
9.Bath towels cannot be used as beach or pool towels. Beach towels are available on request at extra charge. 50 euros will be charged in case of wrong use of towels.
10.Congregating in the communal areas of the building is not allowed. We consider the rest and respect of neighbors very important and we will not tolerate clients who do not comply with these regulations.
11.It is prohibited any act of vandalism, like throwing stuff at balcony or windows.
12.Do not insert any metallic object in the microwave.
13.The Spanish electrical system works at 220 V. Please take extra care when using foreign equipment to avoid fire risk.
14.Please switch off the lights and air conditioning on leaving the apartment. Respect the environment.
15.The main entrance door has always to be kept closed safely.
16.The apartment must be left perfectly clean and in a perfect state. Waste bag or garbage has to be left in the container outside the building. Should this not be the case, the security deposit will not be returned.
17.The replacement of lost/stolen keys will be charged to the client, up to 50 Euros per key.
18.It is not permitted to use the apartment for any other purposes except as a vacation rental within the terms of the reservation made.
19.In case of any damage caused to the apartment or to its contents, please inform the property manager. The customer will be responsible for that damage and charged accordingly.
20.In case you have rent a parking space, please park your car in the assigned place.
21.We decline any responsibility in case of stolen valuable or any rubbery in the apartment. We recommend you to put your valuable in the safe box, and close the doors and windows safely with the keys.
22.I will not be responsible for any kind of damage, direct or indirect, that may be caused as a result of misuse by the costumer.

Great stay in a very modern apartment. Had everything we needed to feel at home and the bed was really comfortable. A/C was nice, especially if you're coming during the summer months. The location might not be ideal if you're here as a tourist, but there are readily available taxis to take you where you want to go. All in, we'd stay here again!

My experience with Lorenzo and his company can only be described as awful. The apartment was as pictured, and our stay started out fine until the 3rd day of our 5 day stay, when I was painfully ELECTROCUTED in the shower by the metal handle. We called the management company, they were very rude and stated that it was "impossible" that it was electricity in the shower. Lorenzo then came to the apartment and was shocked himself when he touched the handle (only after taking off his rubber soled shoes). He shut off the electricity to the apartment, at which time the painful shocking no longer happened. Then, after speaking to someone at the company, he denied that this was caused by electricity and he has denied it ever since. Because we believed he was lying to avoid liability, we no longer wanted to stay with Lorenzo's company for the remaining two nights, and decided we would stay at a hotel. He offered us an apartment we had never seen, which was further away from town, for the last two nights. We declined, and he refused to refund us the payment for the two upcoming nights, which we had pre-paid on Airbnb. He accused us of "discriminating against the people of Spain", and tried every tactic to avoid refunding us for the nights we did not even stay in the apartment. We had to open a claim with Airbnb to finally get our money back. My advice: stay far away from Lorenzo and this company. Your stay could be fine, but if anything goes wrong they will reveal themselves as a rude, unreasonable and sleazy company.

Dear Dana, Your evaluation needs a few comments, because there are always two points of view. Very briefly: - No one was rude. Perhaps it would be worthwhile also to assess your aptitude. On the other hand I have had the courtesy to not write any reviews on your attitude. - Indeed I repeat: there was no electricity in the shower (the pipes are in plastic ...). The facilities are new and, after extensive research, it has been found that the problem was caused from another apartment. Now it is fixed. I had other guests… any problems and very good comments. - Your life or health was never in danger. Everything is installed according to the High European safety standards. - Considering that there was a problem I offered you an alternative apartment. It was a new apartment that is having very positive comments, like all those I have on my profile. Unfortunately you decided unilaterally to leave without the courtesy to check the alternative. This can not be called “collaborative behaviour”. - I am an honest person, polite, cooperative and if there is a problem in an apartment (which can happen to anyone ... even at your home), I am the first to look for a solution or alternative for helping my guests. - I omit comments on what you said (offensively of europe, Spain and Spanish) - After 2 minutes ... Threatening to call your lawyer, make a legal case and to make sure to delete my profile from AirBnB ... can not be defined a collaborative behaviour. - Finding a solution requires a collaborative attitude (and will) from both side. From my side I always have been ready to find a solution and help you... with a common sense solution. Good luck for your next stay.

To some Airbnb-travellers this matters, so just to clarify. This is a fulltime rental-appartment (run by Home Around), so you are not renting a private home. But the appartment is very nice and welldecorated - exactly as described and shown on the pictures. It is not a big appartment, but we were two adults and two teenagegirls there for 3 days and it worked out fine. Lorenzo is the caretaker of the apartment and was very helpful. We changed our reservation from 3 to 4 persons in the last minute - so there were only towels and linnen for 3 people when we arrived. But not for long. Lorenzo fixed it in 10 minutes. After he left, the girls discovered that the wi-fi was down. Big issue for teenagegirls, so we called Lorenzo who fixed it immediately - and it worked fine throughout the stay. He also gave us good advice about restaurants in the neighbourhood (Bogatel and Poblenou). So all in all Lorenzo was a very good host and as attentive as a private Airbnb-host could have been. The neighbourhood is quiet and very local. The appartment faces out to a street with some car- and bus-traffic in the day-time, but you are not bothered by it at all in the appartment. There is a little supermarket just round the corner, but we found no notable restaurants in the immediate neighbourhood. But it is a very well placed appartment: The appartment is only a few hundred meters from metro-station Bogatel, so you can reach the city center in few minutes. Every day when we came back from sightseeing, we went for a swim in the afternoon on the very nice Bogatel and Marbella beaches, which is only 10 minutes walk (going east) from the appartment. There are restaurants on the beach, but you can also take a 10 minute walk up north from the appartment to the Rambla Poplenou. It is a pedestrian street with many good restaurants (and a large supermarket). Rambla Poplenou is mostly attended by local residents and not that many tourists (compared to other parts of Barcelona). In conclusion: We had a wonderful stay and will gladly stay in this appartment again next time we are in Barcelona.
