This 400c-year-old Jacobean era property oozes peace and tranquility. "The Coach House", on the grounds of Ballyin House; looks directly at Lismore Castle just across the Blackwater river.

This ideal Blackwater Valley location, on the edge of the beautiful picturesque town of Lismore, Co Waterford; is full of rustic charm and so quaint it is a living postcard.

Local facilities include Lismore Castle gardens, the Greenway, woodland walks, fishing, golfing, and much more.

Welcome :-)

The space
This Jacobean (c400 years old) accommodation, with plenty of parking and private access; is perfect for a peaceful break. You will be given a separate key and enjoy complete privacy.

It is a self-contained unit on the first floor, where The Coach Hand, who looked after the Stage Coach/Carriage and horses; used to live.

A fully fitted kitchen is available with oven, microwave, hob, sink, a fold out table, kitchen chairs, a fridge/freezer, and all utensils you will need for cooking including crockery, cutlery and glassware etc.

You will also receive a "Welcome basket" on your arrival to ensure that you will have all the essential supplies you will need to settle in, relax and enjoy.

The second room is a large room in two parts - one part is the living area which contains a three-seater couch and two single couches all focused around a beautiful cast iron potbelly stove (fuel supplied).

The second area of this room contains a double bed and side table with a lamp that overlooks the planted ever flowering circle of Ballyin House.

"The Coach House" is within walking distance of many interesting areas such as The Boardwalk, The Ice House, Lady Louisa`s walk, The Towers and of course Lismore town itself.

There are also many beautiful spots on the grounds where one can enjoy a cup of tea, a glass of wine and just relax.

"The Strand" (4 minutes walk away) is also an area where one can swim, relax, read and have a picnic.

The latest addition is the development of the Orchard with its Organic Apple Trees and Walled Gardens plus the arrival of hens.
