The cabin was fantastic. So quiet and confortable with beautiful native plants all around. It was lovely lying in bed in the morning and watching the sun rise on the mountain!

Eduardo's cabin has a truly special soul. You can't find a more perfect spot that this. Location makes for a great take off point for driving the beautiful scenic route 7 through the mountains to Puente del Inca, Aconcagua view point, and up to Cristo Redentor. Staying here definitely made our trip to Mendoza an extraordinary moonlit romance!

Our stay at Eduardo and Sonia's cabin was an absolute highlight of our month-long stay in Argentina. We loved it there and will always carry with us wonderful memories of our stay. The listing is as accurate as possible and the cabin looks exactly as it does in real-life as it does in the many pictures posted, many of which were taken by previous guests. Highlights for us were the very warm welcome by Eduardo, Sonia and their children who were visiting, the spectacular location and view looking out to the mountains (that are particularly majestic at dawn and again at sun down), the charm of the cabin and all the small, natural details found inside, and the breakfast (and even dinner one night) that we enjoyed. Eduardo's daughter, a pastry chef in Buenos Aires, made several of the breakfast pastries we enjoyed each morning. And finally, we really enjoyed an evening around the table with Eduardo, Sonia and their family, talking, drinking wine, and enjoying each other's company. They are a lovely, lovely family and we were honored to be included in their pre-meal conversation. The cabin is located only a 45-minute drive from Mendoza city and about a 5-minute drive from the little town of Potrerillos, right by the beautiful lake created by the damming of the Mendoza river. It's an easy get-away from Mendoza on good roads and yet you'll feel far, far away from city life. It was about a two-hour drive to Aconcagua (spectacular drive and mountain) and maybe one hour to Uspallata. Originally we thought we'd visit these places by bus, but we're glad we rented a car in the end and we'd recommend you do the same. If you come in the winter months (June, July, August) be prepared for cold, cold evenings! The cabin does have a wonderful wood-burning stove, but still, the evenings are quite chilly, particularly once the sun goes down. We were glad the bed was so comfortable and that the many blankets were thick, warm, and cosy. All in all, this was a really fantastic place to stay with wonderfully kind, gentle and genuine folks who, for a short time, share their lives with visitors who come to such a spectacularly beautiful place. Stay here. You'll be so glad you did!

First of all, we'd like to thank Eduardo for understanding the problems we had with the flights (due to a strike in Argentinian airports) and letting us check in and out onde day later. We've apreciated so much! In addiction, he was a perfect host and made us feel like home since the very first moment. The cabanã is rustic but has everything you need to feel warm and comfort, and if you need something else, Eduardo and Sonia are there to help! The location is great, the view is amazing and you can get to Vallecitos and Aconcagua easily by car (we´ve rented one in Medoza). There's o wifi but I ensure you'll be glad for getting more conected to the nature. Totally recomend it for a romantic escape!

Few times have I felt as welcomed as with Eduardo and Sonia. The cabin's conditions were exceptional. In true Mendozean style, it all started with a great bottle of malbec. Most importantly, the cabin gave us a chance to fully disconnect from the world for and get a good rest surrounded by one of the most glorious landscapes on Earth. All in all, I would love to return soon to 'La Linda' as soon as possible.

Wonderful- perfect location right at the foot of the Andes, with breathtaking views. Eduardo and his wife, Sonia, were very welcoming. The cabin is rustic but comfortable, about 30 mins away from the wineries by car. Just make sure communication is established with Eduardo prior to arrival, as the cabin is located in a remote area which may be hard to find by gps. Spectacular experience.
