Another great place to settle down for a few weeks of the quiet life near one of Sri Lanka’s most gorgeous beach towns.
Price is for the whole home per night. Longer stays are preferred.
This home is as nice as they come. Newly built next to the old family home, this house is for guests alone. Well, alone… if you’re nice to Rexy and Sana and Kitty (two doggies and a cat) they’ll grant you as many visits and cuddles as you like. The house has three double bedrooms, one bathroom and a nice living room. You can use the kitchen, but great food is provided by Mrs. Mali herself.
Interaction with guests
Mrs. Mali lives in the 120-year old house next door, with her two children. She’s always there to help out, happy to arrange pick-ups from almost anywhere with their van and, last but not least, she’s a great cook, known to make a killer jackfruit curry.

Neverbeen offers a wide variety of rare homes off the beaten track, from fisherman's huts and tree houses to heritage homes and tea estates. Our team hand-picks and visits every home and meet all hosts to make ensure guests have a positively memorable stay in places they've never been.
We provide travellers and home owners in challenging locations with access to one another, by offering communication services, online marketing services and tourism training, so that locals can make a living off their home and travellers can get to stay in places they have never been.
As such, Neverbeen works for a world in which everyone has the chance to earn income by renting out their home, regardless of language, internet access and tourism experience.
In Sri Lanka, Dishan manages our growing group of homes in cooperation with our scouts, while Rohan creates listings and provides service. In Amsterdam, Marten works out international growth plans. Our team of in-house programmers is constantly developing the platform itself and Ernst & Young does our finances.
The first country we're active in is Sri Lanka, a beautiful country with many undiscovered places to stay. Due to it recently having opened up to tourism after decades of conflict, it is a great place to start and pilot the Neverbeen concept. We plan to expand to ten countries before the end of 2017.
