The Victorian Apartment is located in the heart of Elora just steps away from Bissell Park and the Elora Mill.
Two floors with a full kitchen, bathrooms on both levels, laundry, upstairs outside porch and a claw foot tub make this suite uniquely cozy.
The wifi has recently been upgraded to the EERO mesh system.
I am open to hosting your pets as well but they have to be medium to small (Under 30 lbs) and well mannered. Please no barking dogs or dogs who mark their surroundings.

The space
The Victorian Apartment is an updated 90 year old, two story addition. It is attached to the main house but separated by double brick and insulated, sound-proofed doorways which renders it totally private.
The downstairs has a large kitchen and a two-piece bathroom with laundry facilities. The upstairs is a bed-sitting room with a three piece washroom, Queen bed, large closet for longer visits and a private outdoor deck. There is no shower in this unit, but the antique claw foot tub has a shower head faucet.

Guest access
Guests park in the driveway and enter through the back door on the deck.
I forward entrance instructions once you book the unit.
All areas of the Victorian Apartment are private and only the booked Airbnb guests use the space.

Other things to note
IF VISITING WITH PETS, PLEASE INCLUDE THEM AS A 3RD PERSON WHEN BOOKING.

If you will be arriving with your pet, you must let me know. There is a $75 fee to bring your pet as there are always additional cleaning procedures after a pet has left the home.

Animals cannot be on the bed or upholstered chair due to other guests having allergic reactions.

I have a large crate that you are welcome to borrow if you are travelling with your pet.

Please ensure that your pet is on a flea protection program. Cleaning after fleas is an 8 hour cleaning job and possible days closed for the rental. An additional $500 will be charged if your pet has fleas.

I've been living in Elora for 25 years now. I ventured this way from Toronto on a road trip with a friend and bought an old schoolhouse a week later. As a mother and photographer, this amazing little creative village fostered a unique climate to be creative and enjoy life. Years ago I bought an old Victorian house in the centre of town across from the Bissell Park and The Elora Centre for the Arts. I've spent the last decade renovating and landscaping as a form of active meditation. I'm passionate about visual storytelling through photography, raising the best kid and loving my circle of friends and family. Elora has wonderful trails through the Grand River conservation area, The Elora Festival in July, Studio tours in the Fall, Sensational Elora and many more celebrations. The small collection of stores and pubs are quaint and friendly and my favourite Cinema is a 4 minute walk from door to door. Park your car and walk during your visit to the centre of my incredible little village. xo Sophie
