What northwest stay would be complete without coffee and wine! There are 2 coffee shops within walking distance of the house, and wine tasting at famed Woodinville vineyards is a mere 20 minute drive. Monroe, located on Hwy 2., is ideally situated for outdoor adventure. Access rafting on the Skykomish river, or drive 50 miles to skiing at Steven's Pass. Like antiquing? In addition to Monroe shopping, the neighboring towns of Snohomish and Duvall are only 7 and 8 miles away.

I've lived in and around Seattle for most of the last 30 years (did a two year stint in NYC in the 90s). I teach dance for a living, mostly at night, and ride horses during the day. I love to travel, and have stayed in almost every type of accommodation (no yurt yet). Can't wait for the opportunity to travel freely again. One of my favorite things about roaming the world is seeing how other cultures express hospitality. I've experienced overwhelming generosity and kind treatment in foreign places. I hope to do my part in opening my home to travelers. I am a good resource for advice about the Seattle/Snohomish area, if you're looking for that, but I'm otherwise pretty hands off as a host.
