Welcome to the Patersons of Huron Shores- located on 80 acres on the banks of the Mississagi River in Iron Bridge ON. Here you can unplug from life and reconnect with nature. This is a place to relax and recharge. You will find a beautiful four season off grid yurt(no electricity, running water), access to a fire pit and barbeque for cooking. Enjoy the river, sunsets, and incredible night skies as well as the wildlife, including otters, bears, deer, birds and bald eagles in the fall!

The space
The yurt is one room and equiped with a queen bed, and dresser for storage. A small dinning table and chairs. An outdoor BBQ and a small one burner butane indoor cook stove are available for cooking. The Mississagi river is a wide beautiful river filled with Bass, pickerel, perch, pike, musky and many more! You can also enjoy a relaxing float down river in the current (one of our favorite activities!)

We offer ample parking for your ATV or boat trailer. The yurt is a short hike from the parking area, so you will need to carry in your gear. There is a wagon or toboggan to help you with your grear.

The Algoma area is filled with lakes and beautiful sites to explore. Offering miles of ATV, snowmobile and snowshoe trails as well as hunting, fishing and ice fishing.

RIVER ACCESS - River access is at the yurt or our small private boat launch a short hike from the yurt. The yurt river access is a rough path that is made of gravel and rocks. NO STAIRS. The path is on a short but steep decline which can be a bit challenging for families with small children and adults with physical limitations. If you are up for the challenge you will find a large flat rock where you can enjoy the sun and river.
Access to the river and the current will change as the water levels change. (Water condition changes are unpredictable so please be aware of changes for safety).
